Worth pointing out that Charles Lee knows how to neutralise Giannis

Information from levels.fyi suggests there is a cliff. A cliff just means you typically don't get any of your equity until you hit the 1yr mark

This is President John of Ghana 🇬🇭. He is listing the ridiculous conditions USA gave them. Anyways, Nigeria already accepted.

Ah yes, stock refresh grants. Given when he left he wouldn't have got much from one of those either though

That's what I said, he may keep some that has unlocked but he'll be walking away from the majority of his stock grant

To Spo's credit, he's one of the few coaches that I believe can figure this out and make it work irrespective of how theirs season starts

That's how stock works. Most companies structure stock so that you get them over a 4yr period. If you leave, early in that period you also forfeit most of your stock

He will forfeit any unvested equity, which will be most of it given hes only been there just over a year

He's been there about a year. Most companies structure equity to vest over 4yrs so at most he'll only walk away with 25% of his equity.

I was literally thinking about this earlier today. The 2020/21 Bucks were very well constructed, so well that even when Giannis got injured in the playoffs they still continued to win games and advance without him.
