He talks about censorship while working with those who are conducting the censorship. There is a whole class of so-called liberal elites across Pakistan who propped up this dictatorship because they hated Imran Khan. Now that same dictatorship is coming after them. Hamid used his platform for the dictatorship's propaganda for the past four years. He barely blames or even names PML-N, PPP, and other puppets for their brutality and the thousands of people they have murdered.
From generals, judges to journalists in Pakistan. They are all paid off by the state to keep the system going. If it all ends they will lose their dictatorship supported privileges. Pakistan is one of few countries where the middle class pays all the taxes while the rich avoid it all. Same taxes go to bribe media as the state pays most of the ads to them.
Pakistani media is facing unannounced censorship not only from State-Actors but also from Non-State actors. It remains very difficult to write against Malik Riaz of Bahria Town in mainstream Pakistani newspapers. Anything written against him in Pakistan is often censored. He is a classic example of censorship by non-state actors. 👇

🇺🇸🇵🇰🇦🇫 The U.S. found a way to send Afghans back without dealing with the Taliban.
Washington has no ties with the Taliban, which means no easy deportations straight to Afghanistan.
So insiders say over 150 Afghans will be flown from Louisiana to Pakistan instead, starting as soon as Monday.
Pakistan is then expected to push them over the border, something it’s done to more than 2.7 million Afghans since 2023, though it hasn’t said a word about this publicly.
And some on that flight could be in real danger, like relatives of people who helped the U.S. military and at least one gay man, where that can get you killed.
So the U.S. skips the Taliban, and Pakistan, already doing this on its own, would handle the rest.
