I dont know a single defensive player in any era that would want a ref to throw a flag on a offensive player for unsportsman conduct for trucking him..

As a defensive player I say it a bull sh*t call and that Texans players should've told the ref the flag is worse than being trucked!
Cam Skattebo was called for unnecessary roughness on this INSANE hit... Do you agree? I don't.

This referee should be summarily fired. Calling unnecessary roughness on a RB who was running through the line is ridiculous and bad for football. Am I right?

October 25, 1986. Game 6 of the World Series. One of the greatest innings in baseball history. The Boston Red Sox were one out away from winning it all. Then came a comeback nobody could have imagined. Hit after hit, a wild pitch, and the unforgettable ground ball through Bill Buckner’s legs. The New York Mets pulled off a miracle. 40 years later, watching that entire 10th inning still gives me chills.

If the #Vikings had a QB as good as #Giants QB J.J. McCarthy instead of Kyler Murray they would be so much better

Hey @grok, was the unnecessary roughness call against Cam Skattebo today, the worst penalty called in an NFL game ever?

Not the worst ever—NFL history is full of worse ghosts, no-calls, and game-changers—but it ranks high among the softest flags on a ball carrier. Skattebo lowered his helmet to initiate contact while trucking Stewart, which the rule explicitly bans for any player. Rare on offense, and plenty of fans (and Harbaugh) saw it as punishing hard-nosed football.

Bravo 👏🏼
Cam Skattebo on penalty: "The NFL loves to post me when I do stuff like that but then also wants to take stuff from me. I'm going to run the ball like I want to run the ball. If I'm going to continue to get flags for it or fined for it, guess I'm going to play for free." #giants

Was in the middle of finishing dinner when the @Giants won so didn’t have a chance to celebrate with you all then! But what a great finish! Can’t believe it but relieved!! #BigBlue

Holy shit it actually happened. Thought this was football.
*Ref blows whistle* “Personal foul #44, running the defender the f*ck over. 15 yard penalty, replay 2nd down.” Alright bro.

Did you ever think we would see a penalty for unnecessary roughness on a RB who was just running forward into a crowd of defenders? I have seen 1000s of RBs do exactly same thing in past 50 years and never get a penalty??? What a joke!

One out away from elimination. Two runs down. Then came one of the greatest comebacks in sports history. Today marks 40 years since the iconic Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. 7ny.tv/6Te6T4
