“Fowler: One surprise name teams are tracking is Shemar Stewart. The 2025 first-round pick is not a factor in the team's rotation right now… Cincinnati typically doesn't move its young draft picks, but it would be surprising if the Bengals haven't received inquiries on Stewart”

"The Texans were willing to extend Stroud worth well above $50M." What's that number now?

“It feels as if everything is on the table in Indianapolis… High-profile veteran players such as OL Quenton Nelson, DL DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart, and WR Josh Downs and Keenan Allen are on contracts that expire at the end of the season. If the Colts want to try to regain some draft capital, they could look to deal some players who they don't view as part of their future.”

Vita Vea is mentioned as a sleeper trade candidate. There’s a non-zero chance that a Panthers win on Sunday against Tampa triggers a Vea trade if they fall to 1-6 (plus a Bowles firing, etc). Could be a kitchen sink type game for the Bucs.

The Bengals drafting an athletic project top 20, then trading him after less than 300 career snaps would be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen. Shemar Stewart has dealt with significant injuries both years that has stunted the numbers of snaps he gets. No matter your opinion on Shemar, if you draft a project in the top 20 and give up on him before you even know what he is, then people in the front office need to be fired. That is awful process. Especially because his trade value is likely extremely little.
