The Greens gaining in the polls while the entire machinery of the Establishment are hysterically screaming at them that they don’t belong in mainstream politics has got to be the funniest thing I’ve seen for a while

A letter of appreciation from Green Party local party chairs across the country

All poppy wearing is virtue signalling @IainDale, it's literally the whole point of wearing one. If you want to help veterans, you can just donate to H4H or the RBL, you don't need to shove poppies in my face. Same logic.
'If you want to help the people of Gaza, donate to aid organisations!'
@IainDale labels wearers of the Palestinian poppy as 'virtue signalling'.

People say that the Green Party doesn't talk about the environment anymore.
In my big conference debrief I read out every policy we passed at Green Party Conference to prove the Green Party still cares about the environment.

I firmly believe we should embrace this take. Mamdani is the new political center, meaning anyone to his right is objectively a conservative—even The Atlantic agrees!

This commentary is disgraceful, and poses a genuine threat to the safety and security of British Jews.
Support for Israel is not synonymous with the Jewish faith and to suggest otherwise is grotesquely antisemitic.
“[Saying] ‘Zionism is racism’ is offensive, it’s antisemitic and it’s dangerous”
Broadcaster Jo Coburn says she “watched in horror” as the Green Party passed its motion on Zionism and criticises leader Zack Polanski's defence in his #BBCLauraK interview

Let me repeat what I said earlier:
My late father arrived in the UK in 1966 as a legal immigrant. He and his fellow Indian immigrants didn’t claim the entire country was theirs, didn’t kick 100s of 1000s of Brits out of their homes, and didn’t set up an Indian ethno-national state in the UK. If you’re too dumb or dishonest to understand the difference between normal, legal immigration and settler colonialism, that’s on you, not me.

Interviewing a govt minister Hazarika shows a graph comparing young people claiming PIP to the size of our armed forces & declares it "tells a story about modern Britain"
I can't even make a sarcastic comment about our fearless fourth estate, because Hazarika is a Lab politician

No state has a right to exist! That’s not ‘nonsense’ or ‘strange’. It’s true! Did Czechoslovakia have a right to exist? If so, how did we end up with Slovakia and the Czech Republic? Does the UK have a right to exist? If so, how come Scots were allowed to vote to break it up?

Huge credit to Zack Polanski for an excellent @bbclaurak interview in the face of hostility and constant interruptions.
So interesting how Laura Kuensberg's interview style changed from softball with Yvette Cooper to hostile with Zack. #bbclaurak

JK Rowling’s transphobia has ruined Harry Potter. That is a shame, there was a real magic in the fantasy of it. As a kid, I always loved imagining going to private coed boarding school. Inheriting a big pile of money. Drinking non alcoholic beer. Owning a little slave guy

Martin Abram's speech to full council last night about his experiences as a Jewish man facing antisemitism, the dangers of turning antisemitism into a political football, and our drive to make Lambeth a borough of sanctuary and solidarity for all – no hatred used to divide us!

Antisemitism is serious.
That’s precisely why it should never be weaponised as a political football. Labour doing so should disgust people across every community.
And all this while they continue to arm a genocide and lock up pensioners.
Antisemitism is a cancer in our politics.
We fought hard to root it out of our party.
We will not stand by and watch it infect public life again.
