The pro-Palestine movement in Australia directly inspired the jihadist attack at Bondi Beach (15 dead) and it’s now inspired a direct assassination attempt on an Australian MP who may need both legs amputated.
Easily the most destructive movement in modern Australian political history.

This guy embodies one of the most popular archetypes used to bully white men throughout the world. Yet after being attacked, he gets back up, stands his ground, and faces his attackers to defend whatever remains of his store.
His attackers, meanwhile, behave like a pack of hyenas. Whatever bravery they have is only because of their numbers and their de facto anonymity — police wouldn’t arrest them anyway.
So, the guy who looks like the punchline of a thousand jokes actually displays more honor in a single moment than literally the entire recorded history of his attackers.
He has no crowd to hide behind, no numerical advantage, and seemingly very little left to protect. What has happened to him will either be ignored or excused as having been caused by some kind of socio-economic problem which is ultimately his fault anyway. Nevertheless, he stands there.
I would take one thousand Jacques Blacks before taking a single refugee.

J’ai entendu dire que la France était finie, qu’il était trop tard pour la sauver.
Mais la France est toujours aussi belle, enviable même. Sa grandeur n’a pas disparu, elle ne demande qu’à renaître.

My boyfriend thinks the big problem with modern dating is that men used to merely have to demonstrate solid long-term potential to be considered.
Now, a guy can't get his foot in the door without having short-term dating skills.
He's not complaining, mind you. He purposely developed those short-term dating skills & they worked on me 😂
But he has a great point: there are men who are AMAZING long-term options who aren't even noticed by women because they never developed the traits that make a woman notice them immediately!

I found the reaction to the Alawi massacres - not in the region, but in the West, specifically among Syria specialists - highly revealing; shockingly so. Learned lessons in those days and weeks that will not soon be forgotten.
Replying to @levantophile
I should also add that the Alawites suffered the additional indignity of being denied even the ability to properly count and mourn their dead.
Their complete subjugation following the March 2025 massacres meant that no reliable accounting of the victims was ever established, and the death toll likely ran well into the thousands. One unofficial estimate, cited by French academic and Syria expert Fabrice Balanche, put the number of dead at close to 5,000.
If accurate, that would make the Alawite massacres of that month the single deadliest episode of mass killing in the Levant in nearly two centuries, surpassing the death tolls of every individual massacre of the Syrian and Lebanese civil wars, as well as those of the Arab-Israeli wars. To find bloodshed on a comparable scale, one would have to look back to the massacres of Christians in Mount Lebanon and Damascus in 1860.

Obama can only cope and seethe, because his plan for the Middle East was to use the IRGC and the threat of its nukes as an American proxy to bully Israel into capitulating to maximalist Arab territorial demands. So his legacy is total junk now because:
1. His successor, Trump, put in place the Abraham Accords, which divide the Arab opposition to Israel instead of dividing Israel against itself. These accords are here to stay, since they survived the bloodiest war of the entire Israeli-Arab conflict. No war of similar scope is really in prospect for the next 50 years, and the economic and military ties continue to deepen.
2. Sinwar’s folly brought about the collapse of the IRGC, its proxy network, and its nuclear programme as an existential threat to Israel. Israel is now too powerful, too unconstrained, and too independent of US support to allow that threat ever to reconstitute itself. So the lever in Obama’s plan is gone, and even if some Obama heir enters the White House in 2029, they will not have the leverage over Israel they need.
3. Equally, just as the threat Obama wanted to dangle over Israel to soften it up in negotiations with the PA and Hamas has been neutered by the successes of the last three years of war, the people of Israel have hardened against territorial compromise. Israel is a democracy, so its people have a collective veto on any such compromise. There is absolutely no chance that the younger generations of Israelis, who will run the country until the end of this century, will be tempted into the same kinds of compromises their elders made in the 1990s and 2000s.
This is well deserved, since his plan to allow the millenarian psychopaths of the IRGC to reach the nuclear threshold to try to “Free Palestine” risked the future of humanity. He played dice with Armageddon in the name of Third Worldism. In a century, everyone will understand that, but find it hard to believe.
Add Obama to the long list of losers of the October 7 War.
Obama went to Belfast and gave an insanely ahistorical and petty demonstration of his indestructible grudge against the Jewish state, which appears to have consumed him a la Jimmy Carter commentary.org/seth-mandel/o…

For decades, Israeli regional strategy was based on the premise that the way to secure peace was through giving up land. Now they're testing the opposite proposition, that you get peace through taking the land your enemy uses to attack you and threatening to take more if they can't behave themselves. Wonder what brought about this change. The world may never know

🇱🇧🇮🇱 During a tour yesterday by Defense Minister Israel Katz of the western sector of the security zone in Lebanon, he was briefed on several key developments and figures. The briefing also outlined the military operation the IDF is expected to carry out if Hezbollah violates the ceasefire.
- The IDF controls a security zone covering approximately 700 square kilometers—nearly twice the size of the Gaza Strip. The zone stretches from the Mediterranean coast in the west to the Beaufort Castle, the Ali Taher Ridge, and the outskirts of Mount Hermon in the east. According to the briefing, the IDF is maintaining a strong defense of communities in the Galilee.
- Under the “Silver Plow” plan, initiated by the defense minister with the backing of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, more than 60 Lebanese villages within the security zone, up to the Yellow Line, have reportedly been completely destroyed. These include Bint Jbeil and sites described as major symbols of Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah. Three Christian villages remain in the area and are receiving support from Israel.
- Approximately 23,000 homes have been destroyed. Among the affected locations is Mansoura, a 1,200-year-old Shiite village that reportedly became a Hezbollah stronghold, complete with tunnels and weapons stockpiles. The village is now uninhabited, and all its homes have been destroyed.
- Approximately 200,000 Shiite residents of the security zone remain displaced and have not returned to their homes.
- All strategic and tactical tunnels are being located and destroyed. Additional weapons and military equipment are discovered daily and either destroyed or seized.
If Hezbollah violates the ceasefire, the IDF is expected to launch an operation to seize the Nabatieh area, followed by a ground offensive westward along the Litani River toward the Mediterranean coast. The stated objective would be to encircle and isolate approximately 2,000 Radwan Force operatives currently located in 140 villages between the Yellow Line and the Litani River, after the civilian population has been evacuated northward.

One of the really nice things about women is that they’re actually quite socially suggestible in terms of who they find attractive.
You can use this to your advantage. You can literally make yourself hot by acting like you’re hot. Walk and talk and act the way you would if you woke up looking like Henry Caville tomorrow. I’m serious.
Because what will happen is she’ll see it and think “Why is he acting like he’s hot? 🤔 maybe he IS hot 😳 this merits further investigation 🧐”
I’m 100% not shitting you. Try it.

A big part of moving beyond a victim mentality is learning to create unity from something other than catastrophe
After October 7, shared trauma made a temporary break in the infighting here
Juxtaposed with the dubai hijacking, which produced no comparable response
If collective purpose depends on death, we remain reactive rather than formative
Sustained unity has to be built around agency, competence, and a shared future, not only around suffering
The conditions that force us together will simply recur until we learn

The victory Trump and Netanyahu have achieved in the Middle East is shockingly comprehensive. It’s going to take a few years for people to fully digest what just happened over the last 16 months. Every regional enemy decimated. Alliances with the rest consolidated and translated into material gains. The enemy’s global supply chains utterly compromised. What was supposed to incur a death toll in the millions and global economic devastation has instead killed only 26 and slightly raised gas prices, still lower than in 2022. Not even in Dick Cheney’s wildest dreams was this considered possible.
Shocking poll results of the Shia community in Lebanon. If the survey was not conducted by a reputable company, Statistics Lebanon, I would have dismissed it because the results show a truly stunning collapse of support for Hezbollah among the Shia community. This collapse is an undeniable fact based on my conversations with Shia friends in Lebanon, following social media production by Shia (including videos and thousands of comments on popular Facebook pages for Shia communities), and the testimonies of Shia journalists and scholars. Still, the numbers are surprising.
The most shocking results:
- 42% of Shia feel disappointed, angry or worried about the conduct of the leadership of Hezbollah
- 37% trust in Hezbollah greatly, 22.4% trust to some extent, 23.6% do not trust Hezbollah much, 15% do not trust Hezbollah at all. Previously 85% expressed trust in Hezbollah
- 52% do not trust Hezbollah's social & service institutions (likely due to favoritism in distribution)
- 52.4% do not trust the media outlets affiliated with Hezbollah.
- Only 2% would prefer to send their children to schools run by Hezbollah (Mehdi and Mustafa schools)
- 42.3% believe Hezbollah has not achieved any of its goals and that the costs of the war were exceedingly high
25% believe Hezbollah achieved only part of its goals and the costs of the war were exceedingly high. A total of 67.4% put together.
14% say it's too early to tell
- 63.3% support a deal with Israel (either direct talks, through mediation, or a total regional agreement)
- 9% support a deal that will be sponsored by Iran
- 66.4% support handing over Hezbollah's weapons to the state
29.6% support preserving Hezbollah's weapons
- 51.1% see he Lebanese Army as the biggest contributor to guaranteeing security in the long run
16.5% see Hezbollah this way
- 71% Believe war & peace decisions should only be made by Lebanon's leadership
12% Support Hezbollah making its own decisions on these matters
- Only 5% believe using force is legitimate to express opposition to the government's position on disarming Hezbollah
- 80% see their Lebanese identity as more important than their sectarian or partisan affiliation

Fascinating development where arabs say things like: "we are glad that October 7 happened" in Israel and then immediately pivot to "it never happened and also the Israelis manufactured it."
No different than anti-White people saying that the Great Replacement isn't happening but if it is, then its good.
No idea why people aren't seeing that its sprung from the same animus.
