This has to be so surreal for Trady. The last time he was playing in this rink, he got a standing ovation with fans cheering his name AFTER getting swept and putting up 0 points in the series. Now, he's getting absolutely shredded by the fans every time he touches the ice, and some INSANE chants. Might be the most hated player in Senators history. He had the undeniable love as the captain of a Canadian fanbase and went to be a second-liner in Florida. Woof.

Refs allow a cross check that sends Brady headfirst into the boards but get Bennett on a weak slash. Zebras have lost control of this game. If the Panthers send a Senator to the quiet room in the third, blame the refs 🤷🏽‍♂️ Had a chance to settle the game down and didn’t.

Don’t really care how well they played for 15 minutes of the first period. They’ve been awful yet again for the majority of this game and the goaltending reeks. Losing at home to this Vancouver team would be an inexcusable failure and a big missed two points. Figure it out now

Vilmanis has no business being in the NHL right now unfortunately. He’s not ready. And Bennett is playing comically bad hockey to start the year my goodness. Play dies with him every time…might need to shuffle these lines yet again to find an ounce of offense
