Would it be absurd to say I kinda like 03’s openings more than brotherhood? Like every opening is fucking stellar (again, rain, and golden time lover come to mind), but I don’t know shit like rewrite goes unreasonably hard.

せっかくこのタイミングでアメリカにいるので、『ゴジラ-0.0』をアメリカの映画館で観てきました。 アメリカではR指定になったことも話題になりましたが、シアターはほぼ満席。例のニューヨークのシーンでは歓声が上がり、エンドロールでは拍手が起きていました。 また、アメリカ人が米軍機に日の丸を描き入れるシーンで笑いが起きるなど、やはり我々とは違った視点で鑑賞していたのも興味深かったです。

There are different tastes even within the Japanese Godzilla fandom. Final Wars is simultaneously considered one of the best Godzilla movies (my opinion) and one of the worst because of how wacky and over the top it is. It’s all taste.

As a Toho purist myself Im grateful of Yoshimitsu's efforts (and of Godzilla vs Hedorah not sure why its hated) and of 2014 However it has also exposed newcomers to the scene many of whom only value the legendary goji titles and creating the people who dog on the source material
