🚨 #BlackAmerica, we need to pay attention right now. 🚨 Mississippi is nearly 40% Black (over 1 million of us)… yet we only have ONE Black congressman. And they’re trying to redraw the maps to take even that seat away. 🗺️❌ This isn’t just Mississippi. Across the country they’re redistricting districts so Black representation keeps shrinking. We started this cycle with 62 Black members of Congress — projections say that number could drop to 40 by the end of 2028. 📉 Meanwhile, the Black population in America is still growing. Representation is going backward while our numbers go forward. 🤔This is about power, not just seats. When we lose ground in Congress, our communities lose voice on everything that matters — funding, justice, education, business support, and protection. 🛡️What’s up with that?
