I’m done coaching baseball players. Here’s why, and what you can expect from me next: (THREAD)

With the events that transpired this last week, I haven’t wanted to post content. I don’t like deflecting attention. I also don’t like making things about myself. And I encourage you to read the rest of this post before you write this off as either of those things: The past 90 days have been some of the most loving, difficult, stressful, and fulfilling of my life. Ive deepened my relationship with Jesus, trained harder than ever, become healthier and more present than ever, and gained new perspectives and people in my life that solidified the ground underneath me. So when Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I obviously felt heartbroken for his family and others like myself who revered his ability to lead from the front as a brave, open minded, God-Fearing individual. I also felt a similar feeling of reflection, sadness and guilt on September 11th knowing that things are much better for Americans today than they were 24 years ago as a result of evil taking place on our soil. You reading this, and myself, MIGHT have minimal (if any) ability to see these events and make conscious change for the betterment of the American people. But through the pursuit of sovereignty, justice, kindness and peace, action must be taken. And it must be taken even when the final checkpoint isn’t clear whatsoever. If you are able bodied, and have the energy for participation in the forums dedicated to sharing opinions, hear my plea: Use it for good. Force change among those who need it. Lead from the front. Become competent and righteous in the face of darkness. It doesn’t have to be political. It doesn’t have to be right or left. It’s unfortunate that it takes death and destruction to bring people closer to one another. But god is doing work for us that nobody can see. And that should be enough to strengthen the drive to move forward.
