@Our_DA please tell me you are opposed to this SARS travel declaration form thing? I thought apartheid and the worst of its controlling tendencies was supposed to end just before 1994, not get worse.

@VFPlus waar staan julle? Ek word nou naar van al die belasting en beheer deur 'n regering wat niks vir my terug gee nie. Dit vat en vat, dan beledig dit my ook

If South Africa fails, I will blame the @Our_DA. My goodness they can write a book on how to shoot themselves in the feet. I met Steenhuisen in 2014, and he was so underwhelming that none of his tantrums surprise me in 2026

I love @CapitecBankSA, but goodness do they need to be more transparent with declining a request for credit. 'Computer says no' is infuriating and not a 'reason'. It's one of the few times I feel angry when dealing with them

This is the best the @Our_DA could come up with? My goodness are we led by morons
"We thought that this was a marketing tool for the ANC, they wanted to garner votes" - Willie Aucamp, DA Spokesperson comments on the signing of the expropriation bill. Is taking the government to court a fight for justice or a political scuffle? #DStv403 #eNCA #LandWithoutPay #LandExpropriationAct

The ANC is made up of hardened criminals and people who were exiled during apartheid and persecuted by NP hit squads, yet John talks to them like school children. It’s pathetic
A defining moment for the @Our_DA and GNU. If this speech boils down to John simply expressing his "bitter disappointment" with the ANC, the political fallout will be enormous for his party. Hit back hard or pack it up.

Reject the bill. Call it illegitimate (it is) and trigger a constitutional crisis. Embrace the chaos. The @Our_DA already looks so pathetic, so you may as well
As the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, there will be NO expropriation of private property without compensation on my watch. The guarantee of property rights under Section 25 of the Constitution is not up for debate and is non-negotiable.

There is a difference between land restitution & land reform. Restitution is about ensuring the return of land to dispossessed people - a process the government has shockingly mismanaged. The Expropriation Act has absolutely nothing to do with restitution.
Replying to @Meneer_Mann
So how do you expect people to get their land back? They should just move on and sing Kumbaya?

I for one would love to see what would happen to former opposition party vote share if an election were held tomorrow

If you run a think tank, a stigting, a political party, a risk advisory service, an agricultural group, or, really, any other kind of entity, and your lawyer tells you something like: "The Expropriation Act does not provide for expropriation without compensation. It requires just and equitable compensation, which could include 'nil compensation' (R0), but is not the same as 'without compensation'." Then you need to fire them and sue them for the return of the money you paid them for all the legal advice you got from them since you first hired them. Why? Because your lawyer thinks you're a clown, and your office is a circus. Don't take that kind of disrespect.

Seven month review considering how badly this has aged: what on earth did you think the previous 70 years of the Argentina economy was?

My father tells me that @CapeTalk and @Radio702 are practically screaming in anguish with unbelievable denial over the #USElection2024 with their bias. I wouldn't know. I haven't listened to radio in 8 years. Precisely because of that. @joerogan for me!

The table/counter is different between photos because I was having problems with good lighting, so I changed the surface

I'd love to live there if it was as she said. My Afrikaans would improve
That is absolute rubbish. My wife is not Afrikaans (she is from German origin) and she absolutely loves Paarl and Val de Vie where most people switch from Afrikaans to English effortlessly. The town is clean, safe and you often see woman running or cycling on their own.

The fact that these 'journalists' can't tell the difference between cadre deployment and an internal office staffing position is proof of 30% pass rates and the utter bankruptcy of SA mainstream media.
You should never click on mainstream media links because it pays the salaries of the worst people in our society after murderers and rapists. However this poll needs to be flipped so low IQ morons see their attempts to make an issue of nothing will fail. timeslive.co.za/politics/202…

It's always interesting to see who are often the public faces and leaders of these groups. They tend to share at least one thing in common, which makes sense when you think about it.
You'll notice that all the moral busibodies like Healthy Living Alliance, Nat Council Against Smoking are the moral busibody tyrants that will torment us forever because they have the approval of their own conscience. CS Lewis warned us of these people.

All this hullabaloo about the unemployment crisis. Just increase the size of cabinet since it is clearly a place that jobs appear by divine magic 🙄

I hope for it to become an instruction manual for change
Look forward to reading it

I'll almost certainly make it publicly available through as many channels as possible when it's done. Until then, join the @FirearmPolicy group and page on Facebook 😁

Fascinating! Would love to read the outcome of your research. FA ownership has long been under assault from the cANCer which has only served to fortify the resolve of law abiding SA's.

I've written 100,000 words for my doctor of laws thesis on South African firearm regulation in the past two months. Four parts covering 20 chapters. 1652 to 2024. Critical effectiveness + constitutional review of the FCA. Reform recommendations. What I've learned is incredible
