Blake Griffin calls out NBA Insiders "They know the rules, but they don't necessarily follow them if the rules get in the way. They're like the Jack Reacher of sports reporting... And if an insider gets a scoop wrong, what happens? Nothing. It's just on to the next scoop. It's a job with a huge profile and zero accountability — like a weatherman or a politician." My problem w this is 1. You don’t get to light a match and walk away from the flame. She was part of the problem. 2. If you’re going to speak on the problem, tell the WHOLE story, not just the half that serves your narrative. Otherwise, you’re not helping solve anything. You’re helping it grow Yes, I’ve seen fans of “this one person” (who we all know is Caitlin Clark) minimize the contributions and accomplishments of other players in this league. That deserves criticism. But I’ve ALSO seen Caitlin’s fanbase broadly labeled racist, called “coons,” and subjected to all kinds of vitriol for what amounts to perfectly normal basketball commentary about certain players Calling out one form of abuse while ignoring another isn’t accountability. It’s selective outrage.

Proof of what assertions? I repeatedly tell you in this interview that I did not look for censorship of the right or left, and yet: “He acknowledged to me that he hadn't searched for censorship against the left the way that he had been searching for against the right.” Just a complete lie. Worse is this: “This is a contemporaryinstance where Taibbi has evidence that [Musk] is censoring a major reporter like Matt Taibbi, and he declined… for a year, almost a year, to actually tell the public of this!” You know that’s a lie because you yourself mentioned it on a Rising broadcast from April 19, 2023. Then there’s the idea that I had “still not really criticized” Elon even though I’d done so repeatedly, in a way that got me deamplified on this platform. You said the most recent work I’d done on censorship of the left was in 2022, when I’d just published a huge series on suppression of the Corbynite left that caused both myself and Paul Holden to be placed under investigation in the UK. You’re just a liar, flat-out, and you seem to think that’s justified by politics. It makes no sense to me. Why lie about these things? You can be critical without lying - or maybe you can’t, which is pretty sad. theguardian.com/politics/202…

Let me help you with his headline: Compromised pedophile who then became the most important Congressman at a pivotal moment in American history (99-07) finally dies and goes to hell. In other words, key pieces of legislation that eroded or completely nerfed American civil liberties, led to the murder of countless civilians abroad, and transferred public wealth to criminal banks were passed under the care of an almost certainly blackmailed pedophile.

Great example of woke right making same mistakes as woke left. Compelled speech has been a major scourge of American academia (via diversity statements etc) and FIU making same error
I hereby humbly request that everyone stop censoring when I'm trying to take the day off! (Ugh. But not just censoring, it’s compelled speech, which is even worse!)

AMERICANA seems to be finding a streaming audience, sitting at #2 in movies since hitting Hulu last week. For me, the film is best seen with a six-pack at home after a day's work. So I hope some folks are enjoying the Platonic ideal viewing experience. screenrant.com/americana-hul…

This is a sexual assault—unknowingly captured by a mom filming her daughter’s wrestling match. Kallie didn’t know her opponent was male. But she knew something was very wrong. Today @ADFLegal helped Kallie sue the WA officials who placed gender ideology above her safety. 🧵⬇️

I know that a lot of people have trouble with #SydneySweeney, for various reasons, and I'm not going to try to argue you into liking/appreciating her. But I still say she was pretty damn amazing in @tonytost's "Americana," a movie I wish more people would see.
