Replying to @NYTGames
@NYTGames why is the wordlebot so inconsistent? My wife and I do wordle together in our phones each night and get insanely different evaluations.

@CJEMetcalf and I examine why it is unlikely that there will be a "warning" for the next pandemic in the form of a limited chains of transmission. If fact large numbers of failed emergence events should often reduce our concern. science.org/doi/10.1126/scia…

I've probably treated more measles than almost every doctor in the US and the amount of nonsense I have heard on the topic on this site is staggering. Bottom line - get your kids vaccinated and then you dont have to worry about measles

This is horrible & exactly what we are afraid of - measles kills ppl In ~100 infections in TX, someone has already died For those w/out vacc- it is not the benign virus you’ve been told 1:5 hospitalized 1:100-1000 die This will spread further. 1/ apnews.com/article/measles-o…

The Trump admin just fired key staff at NIH’s Alzheimer’s research center - including the incoming director. With 6.9M Americans affected and cases set to double by 2050, cutting research means fewer breakthroughs and more suffering. Patients and families deserve better.

This is a list of blockbuster drugs in 2024. Guess how many can trace their origins to NIH funded research? All of them.

Anyone consider that maybe Elon’s mission, is for Elon to get what he wants, rather than the country to get what you voted for ? It’s not a shock for Elon , or anyone, to put their personal goals first Elon seems to be on a mission to protect brand Elon at all costs. No ? Free Speech is everything. Until it’s anything related to Elon. Who has complete control over speech here on X The censorship of the platform you adore is in the hands of a single person, who is on a mission to make himself the most powerful person in the world. above and beyond the President of the United States.

We all know Trump was a hustler, but hustling women out of the rights to THEIR OWN body is nasty work!! Hustling Americans out of their hard earned money by selling $500 Trump Sneakers, $60 Trump Bibles, and $100,000 Trump Watches is even nastier!! Tomorrow he’ll be hustling you out of your healthcare rights. Donald Trump talks about how he has concepts of a plan… but the only concept of a plan he has is a plan to hustle YOU

Let's give a big congrats to @datcummings for being one of only 10 researchers at #UF listed as highly cited by @ClarivateAG! He's demonstrated significant and broad influence in infectious disease research, with multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% of his field.
