Some players come through Iowa City, wear the black and gold, and leave a lasting impression that goes far beyond what they accomplished on the football field.
Jack Campbell is one of those players.
I absolutely loved watching Jack play at Iowa. His toughness, leadership, humility, and the way he carried himself made him everything you could ask for in a Hawkeye.
But football is just a game. The person wearing the jersey will always matter more.
As an Iowa fan, my thoughts are with Jack and his family. Whatever challenges he's facing, I hope he knows just how many people back in Hawkeye country are pulling for him.
Once a Hawkeye, always a Hawkeye.
We're behind you, Jack. 🖤💛 – at Byron, MN

Prayers to Jack Campbell, his wife Megan and their four month old boy, Cooper.
We can only hope the best, or if your a person of faith like myself, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
We lift up Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to place His healing hands upon him.

Here’s the scene as Jack Campbell is surrounded by his teammates — some of them in tears, including Hutchinson — and then carted off field strapped to backboard.
Jack and his wife welcomed their first child this summer. If you pray, now would be the time.

can’t even enjoy Notre Dame - Wisconsin, knowing the clock on my screen is fake & doesn’t count.

There are two clocks in a college football game. One the public and players see, one the replay booth uses.
Just think about that concept.
There are two clocks.
