Adding onto this if you ever want to be on one of these documentaries - their looking for stories, that means having some unique experience from a chase and sharing your story publicly That and also get better at speaking comfortably, thats how they will find/use you in the edit
I hope that many young chasers realize that you don’t need to be considered a successful storm chaser by making a Discovery Channel or National Geographic episode Imo it’s not a bad thing to shoot for, but it’s mindful to be understanding of what their expectations are and reflect where you are at currently as a chaser They typically want the closest, most dramatic, and craziest shots of the storm whether it’s tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. So in other words it’s the most risky and dangerous type of footage out there that they usually want. Usually this is where experienced chasers thrive at, since they are used to this type of lifestyle. What I encourage for younger chasers to do is to look for unique opportunities to capture a storm. This could be using a drone shot, chasing a low end setup that could go big, etc. and not so much “I need to zero-meter a tornado” Just wanted to throw my opinion out there as it seems more and more chasers desire to be part of these shows in future chases. I hope this helps.

Finally got to watch the National Geographic series! I have more thoughts than typical on this one, quite like the direction it's attempting to go with it's editing style. The format is different, but kinda the same? 7.5/10 Enjoyable show in my opinion, check it out sometime.

After sitting in Guthrie all afternoon, we made the tough call around 4:30pm... let's go south. It was a high risk, high reward play, but in the moment, we thought it was the right call. By the time we got to Edmond, we pulled off again and checked satellite, only to see towers exploding near Enid. We sat and stirred for a while longer before finally deciding to blast back north up I-35 and boy did it pay off. Here's a few clips from the monster tornado we caught near Braman, OK, including a zero meter intercept during the initial phases, orbiting satellite, and much more. FULL VIDEO - youtu.be/gi2FC8HvtW0 Our hearts also go out to everyone impacted by the other tornado that hit populated areas south of Enid. @AaronRigsbyOSC @AdriMozeris #OKwx

Very excited to have been apart of this amazing opportunity!! Grew up watching a lot of National Geographic documentaries about severe weather, never even thinking I’d be apart of it. Truly a dream come true to be included, especially alongside people like Freddy McKinney!
Went and watched episode 8 of Megastorm since they interviewed my good friend @Sawyer_WX. Fuck them for making me tear up at work lol but what a great documentary about that night and even the Hawley tornado

I’m being featured in @KJ_Chasing’s documentary about the March 6th, 2026 tornadoes in Southwest Michigan! We had a great interview where I talk about witnessing Michigan’s strongest tornado in nearly 50 years. Be sure to go give them a follow, and watch this when it’s out 🙏🏻
