Oh and uh; Iām not gonna let my positivity end here.
So hereās the iceberg pinned back on my alt while I fix this messā¦.
Enjoy!
Had an awesome day today at Archieās Gardenland (if youāre around DFW, itās a MUST STOP.)
Biggest pothos leaf Iāve ever seen! Huge monsteras, and the most gorgeous, old Staghorn fern (50yrs old!).
We love a little cultivar action donāt we?!
Liatris punctata (var.Ā mucronata?) macros from Mineral Wells State Park.
You can very clearly see the glandular trichomes, the stringy styles, and the scaly bracts which define this plant. I love this sp. for the corollas myself.
10/20/26:
Tornado confirmed.
Homes most likely damaged per FaceBook.
Quite the strong signature near Heber-Overgaard AZ, on KFSX.
CC does point (while being a bit messy) to a tornado. SW peaked with a classic rotation signature and we will most likely hear from this population shortly.
Not good! #azwx

News chopper just flew over, this is getting serious.
Apparently this poor gentleman has two legs over the edge; please have them in your heart.
This is so sad.
Me when my password is the number ā4ā so I destroy the entire internet for a few days.
4.
Offshore company got the entire internet compromised, please update your devices this week yall; this is slightly more serious!
Donāt know why I said genus āgilaā, wrong genus! What I meant was āIpomopsisā!!
But, information still stands, have you ever wondered how Ipomopsis spreads its seeds? Lol
Looking down upon an ocean of clouds on Pikes Peak; snow/hail virga is seen to the right falling into the lower level clouds in the valleys.

Way too many of yall are comfortable using Ai and being rather disrespectful to the planet you chase on.
Littering, destroying fields, and not caring about habitat destruction to list a few..
AWESOME!!
Just saw a Phidippus sp. jumping spider NEARLY catch a fly on my tall goldenrod.
Check out those beautiful blue fangs. This never gets old to see
Put mums outside my work (Iām a native plant lover, not my choice!) and of course they nearly instantly died.
Eurasian species do not belong in Texas, please, start selling our natives. A swamp aster would still be alive, or a goldenrod. Itās a weird cope to keep growing mums
šØ ALERT
IT IS BELOW 60° (F°) IN NORTH TEXAS.
It feels like mint gum, a cold glass of water, or perhaps penguins and glaciers outside. Wonderful, amazing, crying tears of joy.

TERRIFYING SCENES as this person found themselves dangerously close to a tornado yesterday near Fort Stockton. Thankfully, they made it out safely, but this footage is absolutely NIGHTMARE FUEL! šŖļøš±
Thursdayās tornado reports confirmed two tornadoes in the area: one rated EF-0 and another rated EF-1. #TXwx
