"Let the work speak for itself" is a classic many of us use to talk ourselves out of building a public presence.
We stay comfortably private. And we pay for it dearly. Later.
Truth is, there is no contradiction between doing the work and building a public presence. It's all part of reputation.
Here's a little snippet from the first session of the Summer Cohort.
I've always believed that building is only half the journey; the other half is learning how to tell the story behind what you build.
Time to work on the story part.
Thank you, @Kapuster, @bogwitch, and @emmaontheblock, for an amazing first session. Excited for the weeks ahead!💜
The Bootcamp summer cohort has kicked off!! We're so excited to work with this season's group.
Over the next four weeks, they'll be learning more about the necessity of a personal brand and how to build it, plus get the training, mock interviews, messaging, and all the tools to really start hyping their stories.
Welcome to the cohort @_rinit @PauluneMoon @afoxinweb3 @janpevzner @Apssolut!! Let's get started on building your story.

Surprise surprise! We’re back for one more Bootcamp Broadcast before our cohort kicks off on July 7.
We’re bringing in our AI Services Director @0xxDana, our CEO @0xDannyHype, and special guest @kashvii to the stream to see what they think about using AI for personal content - the dos, the don’ts, and maybe a few “maybes”.
Tune in tomorrow at 10am ET / 2pm UTC!
Before grants, I scaled a media company for 6 years. This is where I got to reverse-engineer virality and what makes people feel connected.
After that, I ran a company working with founders and orgs, helping them get from one milestone to the next. A big part of my work was helping them build audiences + get their story across. One of the cooler things I did during that time was build founder programs for government incubators and accelerators with a strong focus on audience building.
I'm looking forward to this session with @hypepartners as we cover some of those principles ++ exposure therapy for content.
The @HypeBootcamp summer cohort is going to be spoiled with some of the best minds in marketing joining in.
First guest: @arlery of @OctantApp!

Founder mode doesn't have an on-and-off switch.
It's like a virus, an obsession.
It's inconvenient. Especially to people around you. You're always on. Your mind is never at peace.
Some would say it's unhealthy. Unsustainable.
Does the virus care? Nope.

We just launched a credit card that gives you up to 100% cash back rewards.
Credit card rewards are broken. A stagnating, ossifying industry has spent decades collecting fees while handing back perks that rarely deliver. Points that are hard to use. Lounges that are hard to reach. Fine print that works against you. Innovation stalled because it could.
So we built what they didn't.
Coverd flips the script. Up to 100% cash back rewards in a transparent matrix — a live, regularly updated grid where you can see exactly how to get to 100% cash back. No fine print, no guessing, full agency. Every swipe is an entry into the rewards pool, and you see it all happen in real time.
Grocery run. Gas station. Dinner date. You spend — we've got you Coverd.
This is real transparency and empowerment — no $900/year fees, no settling for B-tier lounges.
50,000+ people have joined the waitlist.
The doors are now open. The Coverd Card is live today.
Like + repost + comment "COVERD" — we're pulling people straight from this thread for priority access to our metal card program. #getcoverd #coverdcard #personalfinance
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Coverd card's base cash back rate is 0.5% per dollar spent, with up to 100% only available during limited 3-minute surge windows for specific categories and the first purchase in that window. coverd.us/rewards-matrix… coverd.us/rewards-terms.…

bro you can't believe this:
there are people going viral on linkedin bragging about 25 PR placements in 6 months.
While my team did:
- 100 placements in 2 months for an institutional client.
- 50 placements in 3 months for an early-stage startup
- 1 FORBES placement in the first month for an unknown project

For a long time, I underestimated the importance of storytelling. I thought that good work speaks for itself. But people have to know and understand what you are building. @HypeBootcamp

Being highly technical could take you 80% of the way.
The remaining 20% is comms.
Building a business is fundraising, hiring, media, internal comms - you need a vision, a plan, and yes, skills for all of it.
The Bootcamp gets you there.
Last chance to sign up.
The best founders don’t just build products, they build belief.
But belief requires a story, and most founders never take the time to craft one.
@hypebootcamp is Hype’s messaging development sprint for founders who are ready to turn their vision into a story.

Excited to be launching our first Founder Bootcamp in the coming weeks!
Since Hype's inception, our mission has been to close the gap between what is being built and how the world understands it. But still today there just isn't enough support for technical and brilliant founders who have a story to tell, but need help telling it.
If you're a founder or building a brand and have been struggling to cut through the noise this is for you.
We're closing applications for the first cohort very soon and we're keeping spaces very limited to begin with, so if you want in, now's your chance.
More details in the video below and on our website.
Don’t skimp on founder marketing
@Kapuster giving you the show of the ropes and doing an excellent job if I don’t say so myself.

I am still looking for work - if you know of any crypto teams looking for an experienced Customer Support/Service person, especially in a fraud investigations department, please hit me up.
(My IRL experience is customer service/support, medical, office administration, & retail)
Replying to @Plumferno
If I’ve ever helped you in the past with a really big, weird or complex problem, especially one that you were struggling with for a while and no one else could (or would) fix… leave a nice comment here & tell my potential employers how awesome I am 😅
Appreciate y’all 🫶
