Data Centers don't really create jobs, especially AI DCs. There will be hundreds maybe thousands of short term 3mon - 2yr contracts to get it up and running, then a relative skeleton crew of maybe 20-25, will do maintenance. Even those ppl like wont be Lowndes residents

Since Buc-ee’s said they won't do business in blue states, I expect a press release today saying they are closing up shop in Arizona and Texas. 😁🤷

There’s a real irony in Republicans hoping that the late mail votes in Mississippi will rescue Cindy Hyde-Smith — just months after the RNC sued to void Mississippi’s ability to count late-arriving votes and lost at SCOTUS, 5-4.

Hattiesburg’s about 50% Black and the 5th largest city in MS. The results here should be viewed not just as electrifying voter turnout, but proof of massive voter suppression. It’s not that whites were massively flipped, it’s grassroots movements helping Black ppl to the polls

Good morning from Mississippi! Our lead continues to grow, and we're now up by roughly 1,100 votes! We're confident Scott's lead will continue to grow as the remaining votes are counted. We're staying focused and protecting the integrity of our election.

Also the home of slain civil rights activist Vernon Dahmer - famous for the “If You Don’t Vote, You Don’t Count” quote so the history here is layered. ALSO the home of The University of Southern Mississippi which has historically put up damn near HBCU numbers in Black enrollment

Most Black girls I grew up with described raped when telling me how they “lost” their virginity. Most of us were frigid as hell because the boys were so vicious. Imagine 10-20 years later seeing the boys who criticized you salivating over Alexis Texas and Cardi B and shit 😂
