We’ll never forget you, Claire, the founder and the heart of our Somerset & Dorset group. xxx
ANNOUNCEMENT It’s with heavy hearts that WRN announce the death of one of our own, the truly fabulous Claire Loneragan. Claire was a fundamental part of WRN since its inception and had been key to the growth and the success of our organisation. She is irreplaceable as a WRNer and as a Director. Most importantly though, as a dear friend. We will miss her immensely. We know that all our WRN members will feel her loss deeply, not least her ‘home’ group of Somerset and Dorset. We send our sincere heartfelt sympathies to her husband Dave, her children, her wider family, and her many friends. Claire had been ill for some time but maintained her typical good humour, courage (and not a small amount of ice cream) throughout. When we have needed wisdom, hard work and application, Claire had provided these in abundance. Her hand was in everything that we did. And we all endeavoured to ‘Be More Claire’ as a result. But more importantly than that, she was always our dear friend. Goodbye Claire. We love you so much xx

“First female - well done” shouted to me by parkrunners & marshals In a small out and back @parkrunUK it’s easy to spot the first female finisher The only thing for certain - I was 12th. Any of the 11 males in front of me could have registered in the female category today…

Ladies and gentlemen, this is an MP in Somalia THIS WEEK defending the mutilation of little girls because it benefits men. I am running out of words for the sheer inhumanity of these men. And the female politician laughing behind him should be ashamed. But that would require a conscience. Around 99% of Somali women and girls have undergone #FGM, yet politicians openly defend this horrific abuse. And what do we do? Keep pouring billions into Somalia while pretending it is building a functioning state. Why are British taxpayers funding institutions whose politicians show such contempt for little girls? Not another penny without accountability. I am sick of this madness.

This is such a WONDERFUL victory for these women and all of us who have refused, no matter the personal cost, to sit down and shut up when ordered to. I have lost count of how many times I’ve been yelled at abusively within formal settings by Labour men, including last night. Councillors, committee chairs, Cabinet Members - exclusively, men who claim to be on the ‘compassionate’ side of politics. Have a word with yourselves. And WELL DONE to these fabulous, courageous women 🥂🍾🥂🍾🥂 🔥🔥🔥
'It's an absolute victory for us, we are over the moon.' Exclusive: Darlington nurses speak to GB News about the latest NHS trans guidance, which says trans patients should be accommodated on hospital wards in line with their biological sex.

It’s taken the NHS 18 months after the Supreme Court ruling to finally stop men from being placed on female wards. The law was clear. Why did it take so long?
Trans women will finally be banned from female wards in hospitals under new NHS guidance. Hospitals have been told that wards, lavatories and changing rooms should be segregated by biological sex, not gender identity ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…
