SNP ministers are forever telling us there’s no money. Then we discover this. The Sunday Times reports at least £27 million a year spent retaining around 800 public sector workers without permanent posts. Some waiting five years. One for 17 years. How on earth has this been allowed to continue? Swinney must answer for this disgrace. It’s not the SNP’s money. It’s taxpayers’ money.
Major investigation from The Sunday Times - the Scottish state is paying a minimum of £27m a year to around 800 public sector workers, in the NHS, councils, police etc who do not have a job, but they cannot be made redundant owing to SNP policy thetimes.com/uk/scotland/art…

How did we go from a nation of people that would shave your fucking eyebrows of and laugh at you for a month if you fell asleep after a drink, to a nation of bed wetting, fucking cry baby bellends that ring the old bill because a kid took the piss out of you?

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

Declaring that Scotland “does not need nuclear” while demonstrating zero understanding of how a power grid actually works. Wind is intermittent. When the wind stops blowing, a modern grid requires a consistent base load of power to prevent blackouts. If you completely reject zero-carbon nuclear energy as the Greens are demanding, you are actively ensuring that Scotland remains reliant on fossil gas backups to keep the lights on during a calm winter week.

Lets get one thing fuckin right here 😁 'Those people' keep saying she destroyed the mining community up north. Labour closed more mines than Thatcher ... they didn't mention that did they? She took milk from school children..... Save the kids 😱😱 She openly opposed it and voted AGAINST it. She sold all the council houses 😱 Lets break the bollocks down. She believed that a British citizen should own part of the soil they live on . They look after something they have a vested interest in... People looked after their homes and gardens She sold off the utilities..... Strap in lefties... this ones gonna hurt. When Labour were booted out we were Walton Mountain piss poor. Nobody would touch us. By the mid 80s we could buy our own home. The city of London was the most fiscally powerful place on earth. The unions were told to shut up or we'll replace you. She sold utilities and homes to pay off the DEBT Labour created ... and will do again

Swinney wants the last word on whether there should be an inquiry into his own party’s scandal and has used 4 FOI exemptions to keep Murrell inquiry details secret. What a rotten advert for this scandal ridden SNP government.

Arrogant SNP are laughing at Scotland's taxpayers👇 800 civil servants whose jobs 'NO LONGER EXIST' are on the state payroll ... Because of the SNP 'no compulsory redundancy' rule.

You can look at Chagos, the attacks on the SAS, lack of border control, the underfunding of the military, prosecution of Northern Ireland veterans as separate events from government that is ashamed of Britain or you can look at them as connected and a deliberate attempt to seriously, permanently weaken Britain.
NEW Chagossians celebrate in Westminster Hall this lunchtime after peers voted to give them a veto on any transfer of sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius. Will the government let it become law?

Here’s another good laugh the SNP are demanding that no Scottish oil revenue is spent on English nuclear power 🙄 There’s so much wrong with this one but they can’t demand anything it’s not Scottish oil revenue. The SNP are getting more and more brazen with their rhetoric towards the UK government and need to be reminded they lost in 2014 and they are not a separate government they are a devolved administration. Energy is a reserved matter for the UK government nothing to do with the SNP.

Correct. Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be. Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them. Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week. Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact. Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia. SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR. That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell. End of story.
STARLINK WORKS THE SAME WAY ITS ALWAYS WORKED. ITS NOT A WEAPONS SYSTEM, NO MATTER HOW MUCH UKRAINE WANTS IT TO BE.

An SNP ban on compulsory redundancy means 800 public-sector workers are on full pay even though their roles are gone. Some have been left in zombie jobs for 17 years, an indictment of a system completely out of control. Utterly criminal waste of tax payers money by the SNP.

The UK government has spent years heaping costs, regulation and tax uncertainty onto British food producers, Farmers, and Small businesses - then turns around and tells the public to stockpile three days of tinned food and bottled water because "unexpected events seem to be becoming more common." Official figures show a net loss of more than 3,000 agriculture, forestry and fishing businesses in 2025 alone, the highest on record, with thousands more closures in the years before that. Inheritance tax changes on family farms (even after partial U-turns), soaring energy and inspection costs, labour shortages, post-Brexit trade deals that opened the door to cheaper imports, and chaotic subsidy schemes that left most applicants empty-handed have all piled on the pressure. Local abattoirs have collapsed from roughly 2,500 in the 1970s to around 200 today; surveys of farmers show large numbers warning they may have to stop producing meat locally or exit entirely if the next one closes. This week the government launched its "Be Ready" campaign, advising households to keep non-perishable food, litres of bottled water per person, cash, torches and radios in case of cyber attacks, extreme weather or other disruptions. That is sensible basic preparedness. What is absurd is watching the same state systematically weaken the domestic producers who actually grow and process the food that would make the country more resilient in the first place, while imports fill the gap and rural businesses fold. You cannot talk seriously about national resilience and food security while watching the infrastructure that produces British food shrink year after year. The contradiction is obvious.

Horrible numbers. It’s worth remembering, however that this debt will never be repaid. It can’t be until we run a surplus which is just not possible. The debt will just continually be rolled over until with currency Debasement over time it will be worthless. It is a terrible thing to do to our children.
The TaxPayers’ Alliance revealed this week that public sector debt has breached £3 trillion. But that is only part of the story. What the Government is not acknowledging is the vast mountain of additional liabilities it has accumulated, obligations that will ultimately have to be paid. The real national debt is far worse, standing at £11.7 trillion.

You are a historically illiterate idiot. Scotland was not “annexed” 320 years ago. The Union of the Crowns occurred because a Scottish King inherited the English throne, and the 1707 Union was voluntarily voted for by the Scottish Parliament to bail out their own failed colonial disaster at Darien. Scotland wasn't a colony; it enthusiastically participated in and disproportionately ran the British Empire. Shouting sovereign citizen slogans about “No UK” and posting dramatic clip-art of broken chains does not magically erase three centuries of constitutional reality.

A country cannot survive if it targets the leader of its bravest defenders. We don’t know how lucky we are to have the SAS - because they don’t tell us how many lives they save or how dangerous the work they do. The rot runs very deep.

Worth knowing the history here. In 1833 the British people paid £20 million to buy 800,000 people their freedom. Britain even paid an African king a salary to stop selling people. If you want to find out more about the story, it's here 👇 xitter.cf/ProudofusUK/status/211…
209 years ago today, Britain ARMED an African king. 🇬🇧 Muskets. Gunpowder. Ten thousand gun flints. Four hundred red coats. 💂 British sergeants to train his army. A salary in gold and silver, every year. 💰 Britain wanted him to win. 👑 Valley after valley. Chief after chief. Until two-thirds of Madagascar was under his rule. 🗺️ On purpose. 👀 Why? 🤔 Because on that island, chiefs raided villages and sold the people. To French slave ships. To Arab dhows. To other African kingdoms. ⛓️ Then they bought guns with the money. To raid more villages. 🔥 Guns for people. People for guns. 🔁 Britain had banned its own slave trade in 1807. But it couldn’t guard every beach on an island nearly a thousand miles long. 🌊 So a sergeant from Cork travelled 28 days, by canoe and on foot, to reach the king. 🛶 For two months they bargained. Then he made an offer nobody had authorised. 🤝 Every gun the slave trade gave the king, Britain would give him free. If he stopped selling people. ✋ On 23 October 1817, the king signed. Selling his people abroad would be punished by death. ✍️ Then Britain helped him take the island. Port after port, every one closed to the slave ships. ⚓ They teach you Britain profited from slavery. 📚 They never teach you how we got them to stop selling their own people. 🤫 Britain armed an African king. On purpose. 🇬🇧 Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧
