🥧 Introducing GooeyPi - A GUI for the Pi Family of Agents.
Supports: Pi, Oh-My-Pi (OMP), and Prime Agent
Very excited to share this with you all. Being into local models, I wanted to have a separate harness for my local models so I don't have to constantly switch configs. And I didn't want to go back to the TUI (nerds).
But, I didn't want to miss out on all the features that I know and love. Turns out, I didn't have to. I just needed to build it myself.
So I did.
Features include:
> Fully featured GUI experience
> Agentic Browser
> Realtime Voice Agent
> Voice transcription (local or API)
> Computer Use
> Automation Desk
> Agent to Agent messaging
> Ask Question Tool
> Git Control
> Terminal
> Pets
> and more
I tried to capture all of the most popular features I could in this first pass, but we're only just getting started.
Available in BETA on MacOS, Linux, and Windows.
I need testers! I have only tested on Mac and Linux.
If you want to help me with this project, please reach out.

when working with agents, look for principles, not rules
rules fix the path. models follow them even when they miss the target, or stop when the situation doesn't fit
principles explain what matters and why, so models can find their own path, sometimes a better one than ours
Replying to @Railway
i'm sure you're all better than me at this but just some of what we've seen if it helps - they're not going to stop. it's going to get increasingly sophisticated and they're going to go after every surface of your system and all of your employees
any old projects you've long forgotten about will be found and used against you
the only reason we're surviving is because we have agents going 24/7. we're still barely sleeping
good luck, sorry you're dealing with this, but really it's a collective problem we're all facing together

PHP sites behind Cloudflare already have an initial set of WAF rules deployed for the known exploit vectors in these vulnerabilities. The rules are available to all customers, including free.
We are seeing early attacks emerging and are updating mitigations as new vectors show up.
This is a STOPGAP only. Patch as soon as @ThePHPF releases the update at 14:00 UTC today.
For those of you wondering if you should upgrade to the unified X subscription.
Let me save you some time.
Premium+ on X was $395 if you bought the whole year at once.
The new unified plan is $300 for the same tier.
That's a ~24% discount.
And that's if you paid directly via Stripe. If you bought through Google/Apple stores, the discount is 40%!
You get a prorated refund instantly, even if you bought a full year.
There's literally nothing to think about.
SICK
When Nvidia first released the DGX Spark, they only officially supported connecting two together.
But the community quickly found a way to combine 4, and then 8.
Flash forward to today: Nvidia just announced a 200GB/s switch for DGX Sparks.

Very happy to share a new paper, “Technology Bottlenecks: Measuring Where AI Could Raise the Value of Work It Cannot Yet Do.”
AI exposure measures ask about the work AI is capable of doing. We ask instead where the marginal value of work AI cannot yet do may rise as AI speeds up the rest of the job.
To do so, we employ 288 million U.S. job postings mapped line by line to their closest O*NET tasks and GPT-4 feasibility ratings from Eloundou et al. (2024) to construct a measure, “bottleneck pressure,” for each task in each occupation that posts it.
Using a simple task-based framework, we derive this pressure at the task level, showing that for an AI-infeasible task it is the exposure of the occupation that posts it, so the same task can face very different bottleneck pressure in different jobs.
Reporting bottleneck pressure alongside AI exposure shows both the scope for AI to perform work and where improving the work it cannot do may pay off more as capabilities expand.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

Linux on the M6 Mac Mini, Day 5 - success!
Omarchy is installed on the Mac Mini's hard drive. It boots, it runs.
Still bringing up accessories, including Ethernet and GPU, so my work's not done, but 5 days from the macOS About screen to the Omarchy About screen isn't bad!

New blog post 🎉: How To Use Decision Models For Evals
In this post, we show you how to choose a decision model for your task, tune its threshold (don't assume the 0.5 default is good!), and interpret its scores.
Lots of cool interactive charts here.
This is actually huge.
Your cache stays for as long as you're logged in. That is nuts!
The biggest problem I see today with developers building with AI is the fact that very few of us are thinking big enough.
Myself included. It all boils down to asking the right questions.
And the main questions you should be asking yourself is: how far can I push this idea? how much of this can be safely delegated to an agent?
The answer is almost always: more than you expect.
I have encountered so many situations in the last month that have really forced me to reevaluate how I think about agents.
Can't tell you how many times I've said to myself "I had no idea agents could even do that."
Doubters will accuse me of having AI psychosis, but I would retort, you have AI denial.

Engram is DeepSeek's most important breakthrough in 2026, and that says a lot given that they just open sourced their entire inference serving stack to the public for free
DON'T FORGET: 2 things for Claude Max subscribers
First, if you haven't used your banked reset, they expire in ~36 hours.
Second, you also should claim and use your $250 Cloud Credits! These expire Nov 5th.
Cloud credits are great for managing issues/PRs in your repo. Ask Claude to kick off a workflow to manage your Github -- give it your acceptance criteria, ask it to evaluate, and suggest fixes for high quality submissions.
Cloud sessions are just 👌 sooo much nicer than spinning up 20 worktrees trust me. The $250 went further than expected.
