People who believe that a solution to life's problems is giving more tax money to the government are people who actually haven't dealt with real problems.
Small example: we had to get Starlink for our property and our vehicles because after government burned down all of the Palisades and Malibu, the utility infrastructure is still so bad, you end up with complete dead zones everywhere; I couldn't manage running a campaign like that. Because one industrialist built a rocket company years ago, we now have an option to directly bypass everyone else's failings while government spends the next 3 decades rebuilding.
All of my savvy neighbors who are rebuilding are investing in fire-defense sprinkler systems on their properties, aggressively managing the vegetation around their homes...they've learned that no matter how much you pay the government, they will not be there when you need them most, their incompetence will likely be the source of the emergency in the first place, and the best thing you can do is insulate yourself from their failures. They won't be there when the fire hits you backyard, they won't be there when the homeless drug zombie stabs you in the neck, but they certainly will be there if the IRS doesn't get their check.
Every smart person who has endured hardship in this country is hellbent on becoming more self-reliant, independent, and off the grid. We call that a clue.
Book 1 of Cubela Libre is now available on Kindle pre-order. Comes out on 10/28. Order yours today for $2.99!

The quality that is going to come out of giving these tools to everyone is going to blow the lid off of anything you’ve ever dreamt of. It starts now.

The reason we have a growing mentally ill and drug-addicted homeless problem all over LA County is because Lindsey Horvath doesn’t want to institutionalize them and piss off the ACLU. She has now endorsed Nithya. The damage they can do together is scary.

Unlike the current Governor, our Mayor, our City Councilmembers, and Xavier...Steve Hilton is a real one, and he has showed up for me and the Palisades from day 1.
He has earned our votes. All the dems I know in West LA are crossing party lines and voting for him.

I don’t think filmmakers using AI are replacing traditional filmmakers.
I think we’re creating a new independent film movement where people are making ambitious work without waiting for a studio, large budget or permission. There is something rebellious and exciting in that.

"No. Esperaba totalmente que culpara al presidente Trump de todo."
Hilton dice que "esto no se trata de lo que tengas que decir sobre política nacional. Esto se trata de nuestras políticas aquí en California."

Scaramucci is dead wrong. It's not the right who is afraid of Gavin Newsom running for president. It's the left. I happen to be friends with the biggest dem donors...they hate Gavin. All the things that Mooch claims as "positives" for Gavin are things that are just inherent to California, that exist despite his efforts to ruin the state.
Gavin has an undeniably atrocious record here, and we would be so much further along, but for Gavin's horrendous stewardship. He is the first and only CA governor to have negative net migration out of California. Bragging about California being an economic juggernaut, as if Gavin Newsom created the coastal real estate, the vineyards, Silicon Valley, the entertainment industry...all of the things that make California a powerhouse pre-date Gavin, of course, and he's actually destroying those assets that give us such an advantage over other states and countries.
All the prime real estate and vineyards are getting destroyed by wildfires caused by his favored utility companies and his lack of brush clearance. New York has now overtaken Hollywood as the number 1 film and TV production hub in the country. In-N-Out, California's most iconic brand left for Tennessee, and the biggest tech entrepreneur in the history of the universe, Elon Musk, took his talents (and jobs) out of Silicon Valley to Texas. People would rather trade California's perfect weather for Texas' atrocious weather than endure Gavin Newsom's leadership. This dude does not resonate with anyone outside of crazy coastal California.
Good job by Elex bringing a dose of sanity to this absurd line of reasoning by Mooch.
"The right knows who their big adversary is..."
@Scaramucci says @GavinNewsom is the prospective Democratic presidential candidate that Republicans are "most afraid of."
"The right spends an hour a night on Gavin Newsom trying to take down the economy of California and all the good things that are happening..."
Scaramucci points out that Newsom has a "narrative" about California's growth into the 4th largest economy in the world.
He acknowledges the potential challenges of California's high taxes, gas prices, housing costs, and number of people experiencing homelessness.

When an AI model trained on every slasher film ever made escapes the lab it goes to the one place it knows it can make a great horror film. Cheer camp.

Six weeks out from the 2014 Huntington Beach City Attorney election, I was 5 points behind the incumbent I was challenging.
On election night, I won by 8. Momentum is real, and it’s on our side again this time.
Vote Michael Gates for Attorney General. #Gates4AG
