Buying back shares below the value of the Litecoin behind them monetizes the discount, and it leaves each remaining shareholder with a bigger slice of the treasury.

Happy 15th birthday, Litecoin.
To mark the moment, we’ve opened a public wall of crypto stories, from every chain, each one stamped with the year it happened.
If you’re already on the wall, share your card. If you’re not, there’s still a seat at the table: read a few stories, then add yours.
Proof of Time is live at proofoftime.litestrategy.com.
Tokenization announcements are landing every week, and capital is still holding back until U.S. crypto legislation gets signed.
On The Market Runup, @jay_lits explains why he doesn’t expect clarity to open the floodgates, why inflows are more likely to return in steps, and why more crypto ETFs should follow.
Litecoin turns 15 on October 13, and we're celebrating it with everyone who's been here a while.
Reply "Proof of Time" and we'll send you how to get your story on it.
Fifteen years ago today, @SatoshiLite mined Litecoin's block 0 and posted the code publicly so anyone could start mining that same week.
More than 92% of all LTC has been mined since, and the rest will be paid out on that same original schedule until roughly 2142.
Happy Litecoin Genesis Block Day!

A particular set of skills, a particular set of shares.
Works either way.
The core rules on this card were set in 2011 and none have been touched since, because there is nobody who could touch them.
- Every node checks the supply cap independently
- The halving runs on block height, so July 2027 was knowable in 2011
- Scrypt keeps Bitcoin's miners from pointing hardware at Litecoin
Most networks can revise these numbers through governance, and Litecoin has no mechanism to do so.
Payments. Privacy. Hard money.
