π¨ The @BoardofDeputies has declared @TheGreenParty a racist, antisemitic party for its opposition to Zionism.
We need to unpick just how deeply hypocritical this position is, and the extraordinary double standards at its heart.
The Board fiercely defends Zionism and the Jewish right to national self-determination, while in 2025 actively opposed Britain's recognition of Palestine as a state.
It acknowledges the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, but largely frames it as just that: a humanitarian catastrophe.
It hasn't recognised Israel's actions as genocide or unequivocally condemned the Israeli government's overall conduct in Gaza.
So here's the fundamental contradiction...
Zionism isn't simply an abstract religious belief in Jewish self-determination. It's a political ideology whose founding objective was to establish a Jewish homeland IN PALESTINE.
A land already inhabited by another people, whose slaughter, dispossession, displacement and denial of fundamental rights cannot simply be erased from the conversation.
And yet, that's EXACTLY what's happening.
Those speaking up for Palestine often say you can't present a genocide as a debate between two equally legitimate sides.
But we're not even getting that far.
When Jewish self-determination is fiercely defended, while Palestinian statehood is opposed, and the human suffering is discussed without confronting the political responsibility for it, Palestinians themselves are being erased from the very conversation about their future.
What does it say about our understanding of racism when the rights and humanity of an entire people can be treated as secondary, or even not at all?
The most damning question of all is what this says about our own @UKLabour government.
Because whether through fear of being branded antisemitic, political self-preservation, or a calculated move to mask its own complicity in the atrocities being committed, this is a position our government continues to accommodate, defend, and aplify.
Rather than unequivocally standing up for Palestinians being killed by the IDF, it continues to embolden its political relationship with the Israeli state.
We've reached a point where challenging an inherently racist and dangerous political ideology is treated as more outrageous than the mass killing, dispossession and destruction being carried out in its name.
Antisemitism is racism. It must be confronted wherever it exists.
But opposition to Zionism is not antisemitic, it's morally and lawfully correct. And no political ideology, state or government should EVER be granted immunity from scrutiny, particularly when the consequences are measured in human lives.

Green Party condemned as βracistβ by Board of Deputies over anti-Zionist policy lbc.co.uk/article/greens-racβ¦
Just this ππΎ with bells on.
At our October Plenary Meeting, The Board of Deputies of British Jews has overwhelmingly voted to declare that the Green Party of England and Wales, by having adopted an antisemitic platform, has become a racist party.

You threw a fit about sanctions on Israeli settlements, forced the Labour Party to freeze out the Greens and then have the audacity to pose as the self-appointed arbiters of anti-racism. Having a cheek doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.
You are a bottomless pit of outrage when people criticise Zionism, but the minute Britain places sanctions on the settlements, your moral compass crumbles.
Jewish Greens have had the audacity to turn down your cartoon version of their party, so it is strange how a Jewish voice is sacred until they don't speak your words you want them to.
The way you explain this is a master class in moral gymnastics. First you protect the ideology. Then you smear the critics of your ideology. Finally, when any questions are raised, you use your Jewish identity to cover you.
You've practically indicted yourself. Dispossessed Palestinians are shrugged off and excused with a plethora of excuses, and anyone who opposes Zionism is instantly banned by you.
You can accumulate 118 votes and throw them around as much as you like. But, sadly, you can't vote yourself into having a conscience.
The Board of Deputies are not representative of all Jews. We are not a monolith. The BoDs purpose is to promote the supremacist political ideology of zionism and weaponise Judaism on behalf of the genocidal state of Israel. They serve no other purpose.

As Zack says. Not all Jewish people are Zionists. Lots of Zionists aren't Jews.
The Board of Deputies largely self identity as Zionists. The Media report the Board of Deputies as the opinion of Jewish people.

The vast majority of Orthodox Jews in our communities are deeply opposed to Zionism. Zionists got the microphone, but we got the truth.

29 Jewish kids said they had their feelings hurt one time.
The Israel lobby then ordered the government to implement 27 ThoughtCrime policies (that include banning criticism of Israel).
24 hours later the British government implemented ALL 27.
What the actual f^ck?!

The BBC have not reported this from Bell's Report.
Please RT this until they do inform the public of this.
"Anti-Jewish attitudes are typically less prevalent and have remained more stable, whereas anti-Israel sentiments are more prevalent and have been increasing'
Thank you.
Mike Tapp: 'Zionism isn't ethnic cleansing!'
Shehab Khan: 'So why can a Jewish guy in London get Israeli citizenship but a displaced Palestinian can't?'
Mike Tapp: '...I didn't know that. That doesn't sound equal to me.'
The absolute intellectual collapse. He spent whole time defending the ideology, only to admit he doesn't know how it actually works on the ground

While Israel commits genocide.
This Labour Friends of Israel govt is truly dangerous.

The front of these people is truly nauseating. They have little or nothing to say about a genocide being prosecuted by Israel, but get themselves into a state of high dudgeon over the use of BDS to pressure companies associated with or sympathetic to Israelβa tactic successfully used against apartheid South Africa a few decades ago.
