Does portal vein stenosis threaten long-term survival after pediatric LT?
🌍 In 239 patients from 21 centers, 10-year graft and patient survival were 90% and 96%. PVS diagnosed ≤7 days after LT showed the poorest 1-year outcomes.

For benign and low-grade #PancreaticHead tumors, enucleation was associated with more clinically relevant postoperative pancreatic fistula vs pancreatoduodenectomy, but fewer major complications and shorter hospitalization.

Ascites is not one phenotype. In LT candidates, 3 reproducible phenotypes emerged. Vasodilatory-synthetic dysfunction carried ~3-fold higher AKI risk despite MELD 3.0 adjustment, but no higher waitlist mortality.
