I believe in smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, adherence to constitutional principles, safeguarding individual liberties, and personal responsibility.
In October 2019, Matt Rozsa of @Salon was to conduct a telephone interview of me about my book "Washington Babylon: From George Washington to Donald Trump, Scandals That Rocked the Nation."
Rozsa's first two questions were couched in anti-Trump terms. When I told him the subject matter of his questions were unrelated to the book, he abruptly hung up. No article ever appeared.
Like most of Salon's people, Rozsa is a political activist, not a journalist.
Good riddance to a garbage publication.
Today, after 31 years, we are saddened to announce that Salon is ceasing publication. It has been an extraordinary privilege. salon.com/2026/11/05/goodbye…
What the heck? What is wrong with people?
Wow. For years, an official in Arkansas allegedly tampered with bar exam scores, pulling points from some test takers and giving them to others.
This caused numerous failing exams to pass, and resulted in "at least one instance" where an otherwise passing exam fell below the requisite threshold.

I received a new @CapitalOne credit card at my home address in the name of a stranger. I called Capital One customer service. Was there a mailing address error? Or was there identity theft? I offered to give last 4 SSN of each family member to confirm none are associated with the card and to relieve my concern there is identity theft. Customer service supervisor told me she could not do that. She recommended I go thru credit bureaus to confirm my or a family member's identity wasn't stolen.
Hmmmm. 🤔
We could have solved this entire matter in less than 60 seconds. Instead, Capital One recommended I spend more of my time (and time of each of my family members) on a major failure on their part (CC sent to wrong address) or to determine if there was identity theft, which some of us consider a big deal.

Oh, the irony.
Karen Bass recruited Nithya Raman into the LA mayoral race in an attempt to cripple the candidacy of @SpencerPratt and Raman defeats Bass.
I am confident this will be winner in contrast to @ESPN which is trying to kill @CollegeGameDay with the obnoxious Gong Show-like fella, and @BNKonFOX failed with its Little Man Pizza Taster experiment.
By any chance did this trend start after December 11, 2020?

When Sen. Chris Murphy, 53, was hospitalized after a stroke Saturday, he became a high-profile example of what may be a troubling trend: Strokes seem to be more common in younger adults than they were in the past. wapo.st/4zIDqRn
I agree with this column. @ESPN @CollegeGameDay has become cartoonish. I stopped watching it shortly after the Gong Show-like participant joined full-time. Before long, audience patience with the goofball shenanigans will come to an end.

Pay close attention. This is a @JeffAbellFOX45 story. He is one of the best of the business.
After comparing taxes in all 50 states, researchers with Self Financial concluded the average Maryland taxpayer will pay $1.1 million in taxes over a lifetime.
That is the same amount of taxes a California resident would pay over a lifetime, according to the research. bit.ly/4A9qL9I

Just voted in commie NoVa. Showed up, checked in, were immediately told a mail in ballot had already been submitted for my husband.
I cannot overstate how important it is to show up today. This would not have been caught if we had not gone in person. We might not make much of a difference where we live, but like hell are we going to let them take what little voice we do have.
The Catholic University of America, whose football team has been a conference member since 1981, could not be reached for comment.
Replying to @marctorrence
Fun fact: we weren’t allowed to join a conference back in the day when we tried because we are Catholic.
Another fact: Bama had no business being in the CFP last year as a shitty 3-loss team. Then they got smoked in the first round. Worry about your own overrated, garbage team.
If one looks up the phrase "bitter loser" they would see Hillary's picture.
Hillary Clinton on Haley Stevens: I have no idea what her thinking was. If it has any impact, I think it will end up helping Abdul. Everybody who runs for office, who doesn't make it is going to feel disappointed, maybe hurt, even a little angry. But you got to put that behind you and get together in order to beat what is a huge danger to our future. And that's what should have happened here.
Um, the same Notre Dame that skipped a 2025 bowl game where they would have to face BYU? The same BYU beat them two weeks ago? That @NDFootball?
It’s just the beginning of the week and this already ranks as one of the dumbest posts.

I believe the female pilot involved in the tragic private plane crash in Palm Beach County today is Nathalia Filgueiras, of Florida.
Nathalia Filgueiras did a news interview about getting her pilot's license while still in high school in 2023.
In a March 2026 post, Nathalia posted about flying a LearJet 60, the type of plane that crashed today.
Her sister, Giulia, also seemingly commented on a TikTok post about the crash saying "My sister 💔" and her Instagram is following Nathalia's "itsnatflig" account.
Her partner, "J" (as seen in her IG bio) is likely the "Jack" she cries out to in the chilling audio.
It looks like she flies with him routinely, according to her former social media posts.
Jack is also heard reciting the Lord's prayer in the moments before the crash.
May they rest in peace.
A comedian filmmaker neither proved nor disproved guilt or innocence. The new standard of jurisprudence.
Watched You Can See Everything. Three observations:
1. At the beginning of the film, the Bay Area audience laughed when interviewer Nathan Fielder responded to Elizabeth Holmes’s complaint that she doesn’t want to be in prison and torn apart from her family with something like “Gosh, that’s tough.” There was not a person in that audience who didn’t believe that deporting illegals is cruel because they are part of our community.
2. There is no smoking gun in re Holmes’s guilt or innocence, but the one person who does come off awful is the actress Amanda Seyfried, who played Holmes in a TV drama. She portrayed a villain based on ten or so hours of depositions she watched, and when she was presented with evidence that the truth might be more complicated, she started pouting her lips on behalf of womankind. She actually says that she’s just an actress and people shouldn’t base their opinions on anything that she does—yet she got into some kind of Charlie Kirk controversy on X.
3. Lots of close-ups, lots of wrinkles.
