I got a hole in one this week! I hit my 6 iron 191 yards at @PattyJewett to about 15 feet and it rolled in. I have played 47 years and this is my first. The bar tab was painful but worth it. @ColoGolf @pxg #golf #holeinone #maxfli
If you are a Denver Broncos fan this is a great read into the playoff run last year.
In January, I spent the playoffs embedded with Sean Payton and the Broncos. Sixteen-hour days, capturing every meeting, decision, and the raw and unfiltered creativity, energy, desperation, rage, joy, and loneliness of trying to win in The Second Season.

Great to see our fire department helping our friends to the south.
Your Colorado Springs firefighters are headed home after assisting on the Aspen Acres Fire.
We couldn’t be more proud of the professionalism, dedication, and selfless service they demonstrated on every shift. When the call came, they packed their gear, left their families, and answered without hesitation. They immediately responded to help our neighbors.
As the fire has grown to more than 90,000 acres, over 1,000 firefighters continue the fight. We are incredibly grateful to every firefighter, dispatcher, aviation crew, and support team working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and communities.
A special thank you to the Custer County and Pueblo County communities for the overwhelming support you showed our crews during their deployment. Your kindness, generosity, and encouragement meant more than words can express.
To everyone still on the fire line: we’re thinking of you, and we’re wishing you a safe and successful assignment. Thank you for everything you do. ❤️🚒
Unfortunate but I understand. I was evacuated during the Waldo Canyon fire and do not want to see this happen again. – at Colorado Springs, CO
This is not the announcement we wanted to make.
Due to extreme fire danger, critically dry vegetation, and multiple large wildfires burning across Colorado, all permitted Independence Day fireworks displays in Colorado Springs have been canceled.
This decision was made after careful evaluation by Mayor Yemi Mobolade, the Colorado Springs Fire Department, the Colorado Springs Police Department, and our public safety partners. Current fuel moisture levels in Colorado Springs are comparable to those recorded before the Waldo Canyon Fire, creating an extreme wildfire risk for our community.
We know this is disappointing, especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and Colorado's 150th birthday. We share that disappointment. But protecting our community, our firefighters, and our first responders has to come first.
Our hope is to celebrate together when conditions are safe to do so.
Thank you to our community and to our partners, including Sports Corp, for understanding and supporting this decision. Your commitment to keeping Colorado Springs safe means everything.

Current conditions are dangerous. Multiple wildfires have started across Colorado in the last 24 hours, fuels remain critically dry, temperatures are climbing, and firefighting resources across the state are already being stretched.

The burn ban prohibits:
🔥 Wood, pellet, and charcoal fires (including grills, smokers, and fire pits)
🔥 Campfires and recreational fires
🔥 Outdoor smoking in City parks and open spaces
🔥 Other activities capable of producing sparks as outlined in the burn ban order
Fireworks have always been illegal in Colorado Springs. This burn ban does not change that. If you're considering using fireworks this week, don't.
Our firefighters need to be available for true emergencies—not preventable fires.
We will continue to monitor weather and fire conditions throughout the week. If conditions continue to worsen, additional impacts, including to planned fireworks displays, may become necessary.
