Oh they scared scared.
Scoop - House Majority Leader Steve Scalise is heading to Florida as the GOP works to shore up red seats across the ruby-red state
Scalise will hold a GOTV rally in Kissimmee Thursday with Republican Dan Green who is challenging Dem Rep. Darren Soto in #FL09, according to an invite obtained by @politico
Soto should be toast from the GOP redistricting effort in Florida, but he’s still hauling in significant fundraising and Dems say their internal polling shows a tight race.
Scalise will be with GOP Rep. Maria Salazar in the #FL27 Miami area Friday. He’ll also hold events for Ryan Elijah (#FL07), Brian Mast (#FL21) and Gus Bilirakis (#FL12).
NRCC is launching its first coordinated ad spending with GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna today in #FL13 - a district where Trump won by double digits - as top GOP groups cut bait in flipping several other Dem-held districts in FL.

I firmly believe Brian Mast's consultants told him he can't be hairline-mogged so badly on the debate stage and he's already too unlikeable
Safe Space Brian Mast does NOT want you to hear this!
He won’t debate because he would be forced to defend voting to:
-strip 440k Floridians healthcare
-Iran war 6x
-Tariffs 8X
-$80B in tax breaks to data center developers
-taking $100k+ from data center & AI companies

The FT reports that Witkoff and Kushner told Ukrainian officials in Miami that the US would cut off intelligence support if Ukraine keeps attacking Russian energy facilities.
When Congress is back next month, they ought to:
1) Invoke Section 216 of the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA). This will allow Congress to investigate whether the waiver triggers Congressional review.
2) Bring @RepBrianFitz's bill to kill the diesel waiver to the floor via a discharge petition.
3) Speedily pass the FY2027 Intelligence Authorization Act. The Senate bill has a provision that would require continued intelligence sharing with Ukraine until a ceasefire or peace agreement, permit restrictions only for specific national security reasons, and require Congress to be notified within 15 days of any restrictions and their consequences.
And Republican and Democratic members need to message they are united on this and it will be happening.

If you’re wondering why we’re talking about televised firing squads all of a sudden it’s because it was finally revealed we lost *an entire base* in Kuwait and our troops didn’t have enough bullets to defend it. A career ender for Hegseth in any other world.
“The Post urges voters to pick Martin in the November elections.”
Proud to earn the endorsement of the Palm Beach Post Editorial Board. I grew up reading the Post and would read these endorsements while stationed all around the world, so this one is extra special.
This poll confirms what we have known all along: this race is winnable with the right candidate and investment.
We have a generational opportunity to bring real leadership back to the Treasure Coast. We will continue running throttles down the next 29 days to make it happen.
Split Screen:
Safe Space Brian won’t debate or hold town halls but makes time for Republican clubs during his 2 month vacation.
We held two town halls with 90+ people Saturday. No scripted questions, just voters.
