WHY are the fossil fools not chirping about this?
£8/MWh for 30GW of power.
But when the gas plants absolutely rinse us at 100x the price when wind is lower than expected, for a few hundred MWh across a couple hours, it’s the end of the world.
Surely @UKLabour MPs would resign over this decision if it is true? Catastrophic for health and the planet

One of the men in this picture is a politician currently serving 10 and a half years in prison for accepting Russian bribes. The other was his boss and doesn't think there's evidence of Russia interfering in UK politics.
Warning: Distressing and graphic language
A Reform councillor from South London has been recorded calling for King Charles to be decapitated because he “is a Muslim”, while another senior Reform councillor from Solihull said of Asian people: “drag out of their homes, stick them on planes and **** them off to Pakistan.”
It’s part of an undercover investigation by ITV Exposure into Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.
Councillor Dean Miller told us he was heavily medicated at the time due to a chronic pain condition and has since resigned from Reform.
Councillor Raymond Dunning did not respond to our request for comment.
In a statement shared with ITV News, Reform UK said "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed."
"Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."

Here's what @TiceRichard and @reformparty_uk didn't want you seeing.
Undercover reporters caught Reform councillors saying the most ABHORRENT things about south Asians
"Put them all on a plane..parasites.."
And one of them talking about a female councillor saying
"If she was my daughter- it would stil be bath night on a Thursday"
I kid you not. I'm pretty sure I heard that correctly.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

So Zelensky took out a major Russian bot farm and social media traffic on X and other sites dropped by 50%. HALF of the traffic on social media is nothing but Russian propaganda bots and trolls.
Things that make you go hmmmm.

I’ve just seen this heartwarming 2019 BBC video about asylum seekers helping out on a farm in Yorkshire while they’re waiting to find out if they’ll be allowed to stay in the UK.
If this was aired now, the farmer would get a hysterical, balaclava-clad mob threatening him.

Building an NHS fit for the future means making our hospitals more resilient for extreme weather in the winter and extreme heat in the summer, and investing in new operating theatres, children's wards, maternity units and mental health facilities.

This weekend, masked, far-right thugs descended on Dover and Portsmouth to intimidate and shout. It’s up to us to reject this hate.
Brave RNLI volunteers do that daily, saving lives at sea.
We must follow their example and choose unity over division.

Our charity exists to save lives at sea. Our mission is to save every one. Our lifesavers are compelled to help those in need without judgement of how they came to be in the water. They have done so since the RNLI was founded in 1824 and this will always be our ethos.

This summer Britain burnt. 3000 people died from the heat.
Yet this Government is drilling for more gas, despite scientist warnings & knowing that it won't make a difference to bills in the UK.
We need to double down on renewables, not bend to the wishes of fossil fuel bosses.

A UK national security assessment has warned that climate-driven ecosystem collapse could threaten our food security, drive migration, increase geopolitical instability and raise the risk of conflict.
It was published in January.
Most people have never heard of it.
We should be talking about this far more.👇
