Just as it was in post-Mao China, so it is now in Modiโs India.
Capitalism remains the most effective [tested and trusted] economic system in the world.
India saw about 496 million people lifted out of poverty between 2011 and 2023 in one of the worldโs fastest declines in this metric, the World Bank said, although the gains remain uneven. bloomberg.com/news/articles/โฆ

I grew up on Mourinho and Ferguson doing this to Wenger repeatedly and losing my head every single time so for Arteta completely reverse trend and make us the piss boilers has given me more joy than Wengerball ever did.
I get Chelsea fans from that era now.

You guys have said this same thing about MC Oluomo for over a decade.
At what point do circumspection come in?

Abdul El Sayedโs mother raised money for Bin Laden, his father raised money for Saddam Hussein, his sister is on a terrorist watchlist, everyone in his family and his wifeโs family is Muslim Brotherhood and he had a terrorist who terrorized Jews in Michigan working for him.
A campaign of antisemtic terror against American Jews in Michigan results in formal criminal indictments. One of them is a former staffer working for Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
Just like Hasan Piker and the antisemitic ad by Cenk Uygur, El-Sayed hasn't condemned or disassociated from his former staff. I assume this person is now only *former* staff for El-Sayed because they're now busy defending themselves in court.
Sheโs been kind to you even when your partner died but you come to twitter and throw her under the bus, ore agbako.
I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. Weโve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, Iโve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. ๐
Haleyโs endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because heโs a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. Heโs shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. Iโm shocked by Haleyโs endorsement. Iโm terribly sad and disappointed. Iโm furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley wonโt just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

No useless bloody revolution. No violence on people due to rhetoric and ideology. No dictator seizing power by force.
No Leaps Forward, no Cultural Revolution.
Just regular voted governments working and capitalism.
That's what works, guys.
Well done India ๐๐พ

You do not allow the fox (DSA) into the hen house (Democratic Party). Some of you Democrats are seriously naive and canโt see the forest for the trees.

Final thoughts, he walked in day 1 & said the perception is we are a laughing stock. He said I will take on this challenge, trust my process. Delivered a Premier League Title and said its not enough. Deep that.
We used to celebrate signing Denis Suarez. Now we have Wilo Gabi Raya Rice etc etc
