In this cohort of mural module within BD-IPMN, we thoroughly examined the location of HGD/IC relative to the mural module, finding that 45% of HGD/IC cases were distant from the mural module
Although mural module is a strong predictor of HGD, our results indicate that malignancy is not always located within or near the mural module
For such patients, local ablation of the mural module or the affected secondary duct offers limited benefit compared to pancreatic resection, especially in those fit for surgery

Was just talking to @Maker_MD of a similar case. Looks like left PV is gone ? RLL hypertrophy? If vols ok for left tri I tend to place emphasis on IOC either from cystic or PTC. To ensure clear landing zone on transection . Including ray-tec on hilum prior to division of ducts.

Indeed it is. And histopath showed mixed type - hepatocholangiocarcinoma. PET CT did not show extra hepatic mets, though Ca19-9 was high at almost a thousand. No preop neoadjuvant. Upfront resection since seg VI, VII and VIII volume was enough. Preop neoadjuvant is an option. 1/2
