I am in disbelief that after Javits Frimpong was shot in the stomach, he laid there on the concrete for 30 minutes b/c multiple people saw him, walked by and didn’t call 911.
He could’ve survived. So many people failed him and that’s a reflection of a “me first” community.

When I worked in schools, my last office was in an elem. school in Queens. Many kids newly arrived from diff countries, many refugee children too. I saw some of these kids really lose the light in their eyes with how poorly they were treated by other students. The kids are cruel.

For the people blaming the dad, Stop blaming Javits’ father for where he chose to raise his child. Living in the Bronx does not make him a bad parent, nor does it make him responsible for someone else's actions. Theres literally a whole Ghanaian community in the Bronx. Theres familiarity and support there. A father has lost his child. Show some compassion.

Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.
