Here we go again.
John Cleese โ the comedian and national treasure โ has been reported to the Governmentโs counter-extremism programme, Prevent, over his social media posts about Islam.
The ability to criticise, debate, challenge and mock a religion is a fundamental right in Britain. Parliament voted to abolish our blasphemy laws in 2008 โ 18 years ago. Yet it appears we now have one for Islam alone.
The official Islamophobia definition โ repackaged as โanti-Muslim hostilityโ โ has emboldened those who wish to silence criticism of Islam.
One of Johnโs posts in question reads: โI personally prefer a culture that does not approve of FGM, child marriage and killing infidels.โ
The Islamic website 5Pillars reports that the complainant described Johnโs posts as โdehumanising and collectively attributing violence and criminality to Muslimsโ, and assessed the risk as โmoderate to highโ.
Enough is enough. This madness must stop. We cannot allow an Islam-specific blasphemy law to take root.
We stand with @JohnCleese and are ready to help him should he need it.

British comedian John Cleese has been named in a Prevent referral over a series of incendiary posts about Muslims and Islam.
Among the posts highlighted to the counter extremism authorities, which 5Pillars has seen, Cleese wrote of a culture โwhose holy book advocates the killing of all the people they disagree withโ and said Britain was โunder attack from Muslim belief systems, especially the Koranic...โ
He also wrote: โI personally prefer a culture that does not approve of FGM, Child Marriage and Killing Infidels.โ
Cleese also reposted content referring to Islam as โthe religion of paedophiles.โ
The complainant describes the pattern as dehumanising and collectively attributing violence and criminality to Muslims and assesses the risk as โModerate to High."

If the victim and the perpetrators had been reversed, this would have been wall-to-wall coverage for a week. Politicians would be lining up. Every newspaper would be running it on the front page.
The outrage would be endless.
Instead itโs a quiet local story that most people will never hear.
Christopher Bradbury was loved by his family.
His life mattered.

The UK has just appointed the worst kind of person to Attorney General
An Afghan asylum seeker named Ahmad Mulakhil raped a 12 year old girl and filmed the entire attack as a trophy
Another migrant named Mohamed Abdulraziq dragged a 5 year old girl off the street and sexually assaulted her
In both cases their sentences were argued to be too lenient for their crimes
Both cases were sent to Labour MP Ellie Reeves for review
In both cases she rejected the appeals and said the light sentences were just fine
Under her watch expect more migrants to get tiny sentences for raping children

For the crime of cleaning up this beautiful corner of dear England @paulpowlesland is facing two years in prison.
That such a selfless, years-long effort to clean one of our rivers should come to this is proof positive the regime which rules us hates anything and anyone good.

In February this year, after 4 years of asking you to look after the Aldersbrook, I led a team of volunteers to do your job for you & clean out tonnes of silt & leaves, as well as hundreds of bags of rubbish. Through the effort of community volunteers & donations, & at zero cost to the taxpayer, we turned a forgotten silted up ditch back into a river again.
Last nights intense rain storm showed why our actions are the very definition of โstrengthening water resilienceโ. A huge amount of rain fell in a short time, but the restored section of the Aldersbrook has been able to hold 100โs of thousands of litres more water, stopping this water running into the Roding, & thereby *reducing* local flood risk. The first photograph below is of the Aldersbrook after the rains this morning- a big contrast to the area before we did the work.
Perhaps more importantly, this water, instead of running straight off into the Roding & hence the sea is now being held in the Aldersbrook & gradually released so it can be used by nature. It is feeding marshes, trees & wildlife, topping up groundwater & helping to reduce our flood/drought cycle. If you want to strengthen water resilience, we need thousands more projects like the Aldersbrook around the country.
So the question I ask you, Environment Agency, is why you are threatening me with two years imprisonment, rather than offering to meet & discuss how we can work together to restore the Roding & its tributaries, which could become a blueprint for you cooperating with local river guardians nationwide?

INTEGRITY MATTERS
Two men. Both elected to Parliament on the same promise. To fight for the British people against a system that has failed them.
One of them means it.
Let me show you the difference.
Nigel Farage has been an MP for 22 months. In that time he has earned nearly ยฃ970,000 from second jobs. ยฃ394,900 from GB News. ยฃ280,500 as a gold bullion brand ambassador. ยฃ135,000 from filming personalised birthday videos. Over 1,100 hours, equivalent to 140 working days, spent on outside work while Parliament sat for approximately 260 days.
In those same 22 months he gave 45 parliamentary speeches. Filed approximately 20 written questions. Introduced zero bills. Sat on zero committees. Secured one urgent question.
He missed a vote on the smoking ban. He was filming his television show.
Rupert Lowe was also elected in July 2024. He donates his entire parliamentary salary to local charities. Every single month. He keeps nothing.
In the same period he filed hundreds of written questions systematically covering every government department. He secured a seat on the Public Accounts Committee. He introduced legislation. He gave 27 Home Office debate contributions alone. He raised the rape gang inquiry on the floor of the House. He built a 600,000 pound crowdfunded independent inquiry into child sexual exploitation. He did it while simultaneously building a political movement from scratch.
He did all of that for free.
Now ask yourself an honest question. Which of these two men is in it for Britain? And which is in it for himself?
I have heard people say that Reform is different. That it is not part of the establishment. That it is fighting the uniparty system that has broken this country.
But look at what the uniparty does. It uses the language of the people while serving itself. It talks about change while accumulating power and money. It tells you it is different while doing exactly what it always did.
Nearly a million pounds in outside earnings. Zero bills. Zero committees. Ninety times more birthday videos than parliamentary speeches.
Now look at who is joining the top table at Reform: failed ministers and career politicians from the very governments that broke Britain.
And look at who is flooding out. Ordinary people who believed the promise. Who gave their time, their money and their votes. Who wanted something real and are now realising what they are actually looking at.
That tells you everything about what Reform has become.
If you are genuinely trying to change this country for the better you live and breathe integrity. You do not film birthday videos for ยฃ71 a time while the country burns. You do not spend 140 working days on second jobs while a failing government goes unchallenged.
This is not change. This is a uniparty respray.
The British people deserve a movement that puts them first at every single opportunity. Not occasionally. Not when the cameras are on. Every single day, in every division lobby, in every written question, in every committee room, whether anyone is watching or not.
That movement exists. It is growing. And it is coming to a town near you.
