Stuart Gibbs @BTFC_PASTORS is currently in Africa, and has handed out BTFC shirts to a children's home in Embu, a place he has visited previously. The kit was taken to St Stephen’s Children’s home, a place dedicated to caring for orphaned children. Well done Stuart! Great job!

My school visit tomorrow has been cancelled. Anyone west London based in need of an author?
Loveliest school visit this week from @JenniferKillick. Pupils bursting with excitement from start to finish! Big thank you to @bookwagonuk for facilitating book sales. Highly recommended for ease, customer service and for just clearly being book people! #readingteachers #rfp
Not sure why Anton Du Beke can use this changing room and not me... poor form, favourite charity shop!

Decided to finally sell some shirts. Taking up space and I never wear them now, but I hate selling things 🤣
Anyway, thread below. Feel free to DM about any...
Mostly sizes large.
This is the year that my wife and I have both taken the plunge and got a @TPositiveTC planner. Beauty aside, I'm hoping to use it really well. Anyone got any top tips on getting the most from it? #teaching #productivity #LADmin
Nothing says holiday like a three-hour game of the EPIC Ark Nova. It's basically Zoo Tycoon on a table. Easily in my top three #boardgames of all time. #SummerPlays #2 #gamingteachers #wellbeing
First board game of mine and @Mrs_B_Reading's #SummerPlays completed yesterday: Quacks of Quedlinburg. Really fun, thematic, push-your-luck bag-builder. What's on the gaming menu, #gamingteachers?
'You turned my love of #reading from just reading a book for the sake of reading into relishing every word.' Some comments make the rubbish bits of #teaching worthwhile. #wellbeing tip: write down any nice comments while they're fresh before switching off for the hols!
Got some money pounds from PTA. Hit me up with your best independent Year 4 for pleasure reads, please and ta. RT etc. @MrBoothY6 @Teacherglitter @Misterbodd @Mr_P_Hillips @StephenConnor7 @f33lthesun @PaulWat5 @_Reading_Rocks_ @OpenUni_RfP
After years of research, I am pleased to present my first academic paper:
'Why butterflies are the most overrated creature on earth: a study in two photographs' (Breads, 2024)

Tell me it's the day after report and data deadline without telling me it's the day after report and data deadline... #teacherlife #wellbeing #readingteachers
Without wanting to be disrespectful regarding serious matters, it's quite impressive shooting someone with an axe, no? Lord of the rings would have been very different had Gimli figured out this trick... #Grammar #EURo202 #YouHaveMyAxe
Year 6 sensitivity to blame, perhaps, but just had to skip reading a short story by a very well-respected author because of the awful punctuation. Commas EVERYWHERE. Jarring to read but mostly just demoralising knowing what's expected of our 11-year-olds.
Read (and loved) this by @tompalmerauthor after rekindling my interest in the Great War thanks to my class loving War Horse. Great to read a story featuring my (slightly distant) relative Vivian 'Jack' Woodward, too (assuming that was the same guy, Tom?)! #readingteachers

'I'm praying for you' is a common response to people who are going through tough times. Shooting quick prayers throughout the day, but how do we flourish in prayer? Click the link to join next week's Bible plan. Any issues with the link, let us know.
