UPDATE: Raymond Eden Asiku, one of the individuals who swore an affidavit in the habeas corpus case, has told court that he was detained at the same facility as Sam Mugumya, although he could not identify the location because he was blindfolded. Asiku says Mugumya was alive when they were held together, adding that he and others would help carry Mugumya because he was unable to walk on his own.

The NRM chose illiterate people as MPs for Sembabule District and rejected all the educated ones.
Theodore Ssekikuubo, Jet Tumwebaze and Gorret Namugga were locked out in favour of illiterates Emmanuel Rwashande, Sodo Aine Kaguta and Florence Nambazira.
None of the selected MPs have academic qualifications to be in parliament.
Today I learned that Dean Lubowa Saava once tried his hand at music. He has actual recordings. 😂 Is there any hustle this man hasn't tried?
Music, journalism, propaganda, character assassination, blackmail, name it. Whatever pays.

The reason our leader was abducted and put behind bars was to erase him politically, and possibly eliminate him for good. If Besigye is politically gone, why labour to want to talk to him? I once said if Mwenda talks, pay attention to what he says. Much of it is factually wrong.
Andrew Mwenda, with a straight face, falsely claimed that the People's Front for Freedom (PFF) did not win a single seat in the current (12th) Parliament, and the host, Terry Kahuma, did not challenge him.
PFF has two MPs in the 12th Parliament:
~Betty Aol Ocan, Gulu City Woman MP
~Asinansi Nyakato, Hoima City Woman MP.

Spot on.
Radio is evolving, not dying. In the UK, 87% of adults tune in to Radio every week, in the US it’s 92%. Radio still dominates in car listening globally, in Uganda it remains the most widely used medium, well ahead of TV and social media at 82% of population listening everyday. What could be struggling is the traditional style of listening through FM or AM frequency.
Bottom line, the stations currently struggling are those who are not evolving.

Appearing in court, Nambaziira revealed that she did not sit for her Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) or Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), stating instead that she obtained a certificate in hairdressing from the Mengo Youth Vocational Center.
The petition challenging her academic eligibility was filed by Mary Begumisa.

It's the hope that kills. At this point, Terry is Mwenda's mouthpiece. He's hosted him 5 or so times in as many months.

In 2011, John Nagenda called the then cabinet “very supine” when he decided to give away Mabira Forest to Mehta. I think that’s when he used the “who will bell the cat?” saying.
15 years later, it seems OO is the only politician and NRM ideologue willing to bell the cat.

In the parliamentary caucus of the NRM, to which I belong, the issue of human rights has been persistent during the five months we have been in Parliament.
I have spoken to the Chief Whip and to the NRM leaders in Parliament (ministers), and there has not been any efforts to have that discussion in the caucus.
And my reading is that they're unwilling to engage because of repudiation. They don't know what will follow if they allow that discussion in an official forum.

Dr Jimmy Spire Ssentongo is a dollar billionaire and has very great ideas on how he will spend his money.
He wants to help Mr Museveni in his quest to rid Kampala of all its greenery and replace it with concrete.
That Kampala doesn't need green spaces or trees. 😆
