Nearly every stop, an impenetrable 5 min description of all the tickets you may not use on this service, punctured by these mean spirited, aggressive ads. Also, the one loo doesn't work. When did someone decide to make trains an exercise in moral punishment.

Germany: here's a Deutschland Ticket, you can use any train except for the ICE. Enjoy it. UK: Oh under normal circumstances yes this ticket would be valid BUT today is the first sunny Wednesday since two week after St Swithen's day. Prison for you, and we're killing your dog.

When a hurricane is coming, millions hit the road in cars. The result? Total gridlock. 🚗🚙🚗 People stuck for hours, barely moving, and sometimes unable to even get out of town.

Today the government and I have announced exciting new plans to pedestrianise Oxford Street. These plans will transform the experience of Londoners and tourists visiting the world-famous high street. We’re determined to create one of the finest public spaces in the world.

I think this is understandable: shared space is bad for everyone whether on foot or cycling, especially somewhere as crowded as Oxford St. Build a high-quality cycle route on a parallel street; Wigmore St makes sense and could be made buses and bikes only with segregated lanes
Cyclists will be BANNED from the pedestrianised section of Oxford St, says ⁦@SadiqKhan⁩

Remember, when it comes to the actual likelihood that a vehicle crash will occur at all, AND whether the consequences of a crash are serious, or even deadly, or not, speed is ALWAYS a factor. Including when the legal speed limits are currently too high. #SpeedKills #VisionZero

According to @MidlandTxPD the “bicycler” (🙄) killed by the driver of a Chevy 2500 was riding “without proper equipment”. What the actual fuck does that even mean? This is a Chevy 2500. What kind of “equipment” would save a bike rider in a collision with this kind of vehicle?

Free car parking is fundamentally a subsidy to a businesses' better paid employees - when they're not giving free bus tickets to their cleaners. The proposed workplace parking levy for Bristol will improve public transport, cut down on congestion & reduce emissions in our city.
