We're constantly encouraged to pursue more possessions, prestige, and power, believing they'll make us happy. But when things become what we love and people become what we use, we've got the formula for a good life completely backward.
Things are meant to be used. People are meant to be loved. And God, not ourselves, belongs at the center of our lives.

Last few tickets remaining for the DC Privacy Summit on Thursday! We'll be exploring questions like:
--> What does privacy look like when AI agents can act as you?
--> Can we avoid digital ID becoming a surveillance tool?
--> What are the real limits of techno-solutionism?
--> And what happens when crypto, AI, and politics collide?

@1inch Groundwork is in D.C. on purpose.
Seven panels and six roundtables. Speakers from Robinhood Crypto, Uniswap, Circle, Digital Asset, Fireblocks, OpenZeppelin, TRM Labs, Dune, Alchemy and Certik. Faculty from Columbia, NYU, Rutgers and George Mason.
The rules for this industry are being written here. The students who will spend their careers working under those rules are at universities across the city. Groundwork puts both in one room for an afternoon.
I’ll be leading a practical, no-assumptions introduction for attendees newer to the space. Understand what happens when you create a wallet, hold an asset and make an onchain transaction - then complete a first swap together.

Michael Postupak has put a ton of work into our state efforts over the past year: the GENIUS Act roundtables, the BA-NABA State Policy Forum, meetings with state officials, and strengthening our relationship with @na_blockchain. All for our members.
Much of this work happens behind the scenes, and he's has been driving it.

And this is where I became a huge supporter of his genius.
Fast forward and a year is almost upon us.
We’ve met in person a few times and I’m glad to call him a friend and business colleague.

Five years ago, @Web3DC brought Web3 and digital assets into DC Startup & Tech Week.
It was a very different conversation then.
NFTs. Provenance. Bitcoin.
Community, community, community.
Today, the conversation has matured.
Stablecoins. Tokenization. Onchain finance. AI agents. Payments. Infrastructure. Real business use.
@DCstartupweek brings together the largest gathering of entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic to Washington D.C.
Crypto people talking to crypto people will only take us so far. We have to preach beyond the choir.
People who are building companies, serving customers, managing capital, creating products, working in government, and solving real problems.
Change happens when the technology becomes useful to everyone.
Proud to lead.
