33 MEGA Byte sounds rather large. not sure the german internet can handle that much data with their copper wires. Better send it on 33 floppy disks or even better as a truck full of punch cards....

Our paper on task general motivational fluctuations and collapse is out! This is part of @jangrohn PhD and was done in collaboration with @JeromeSallet , Matthew Rushworth and many others who worked tirelessly to collect the data nature.com/articles/s41467-0… more details in thread
We then correlated motivational factor with brain activity across tasks, showing general collapse of activity in pgACC with motiv. collapse. Stimulation of same region improves motivation by reducing disengagement showing that this region causally contributes to task engagement!

Also, if you are interested in applying for a Marie Curie PostDoc Fellowship, get in touch. You'd be joining a great team with access to MEG, fMRI, TUS and electrode recordings in humans and animals 1/2.
Plus a focus on new task design, cognitive modelling, gamification and exciting ideas of how to expand measuring peoples cognitive and physiological contexts and it's impact on behaviour. find a recent description of some of our approaches/ideas here: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
We got a press release about our recent paper in Nature Human behavior : psychreg.org/scientists-iden…

Exciting new work from @RudebeckLab out today in Neuron! @fredmstoll uses monkeys' preferences to reveal dissociable valuation systems within prefrontal-limbic circuits

I am very glad this found a good home as this is great work by Ellie, a proud achievement of our lab and truly collaborative effort!
And I think we learned something new about incremental goal pursuit and what keeps us on track (or allows us to abandon when necessary!)
Very excited our study on how goals shape choice is out now in @NatureHumBehav with @NilsKolling @jangrohn @BrainInTheMind and Jill O'Reilly! nature.com/articles/s41562-0…
