After about a decade, my time at @SKWrestling_ is over. Wanna thank @pwanirban @rdore2000 @PhillipaMariee and many more for everything over the years. There are simply too many to tag, but I wanted to share something about working there that might surprise some folks. I’ve mentioned before how Covid put me in a coma back in 2021, lost a lung and came out permanently on oxygen and a cane. What I didn’t say before was that, two months before that, I’d gone full-time with them. Quit my job at a local pharmacy to write about pro wrestling. While I was out, several of my friends and colleagues there got in touch with my mother, who was going through hell, stayed in touch with her throughout, and helped her get a GoFundMe started. Not only did they spread it around to whoever they could, they continued to pay me. It’s thanks to them that I didn’t lose my house and all of the bills stayed paid while I was just trying to survive. And while I was recovering, they got well-wishing videos from some of my favorite wrestlers and personalities in the business. Whenever I meet someone and talk about what I’ve been through, I’m always happy to talk about this section. About how the people who never met me face-to-face made sure my lights were on, my dogs were fed, and my mother had some peace of mind while I just…tried not to die. After I got out, I said I’d be back full-time in a few months. I never managed to do that. But when I was finally able to get to a desk and type, I was happy to post TNA Wrestling, WWE, and AEW results and top 5 lists again. I’m not sure what’s next for me. This year, my health hasn’t just hit a plateau. I’m meeting with palliative care soon as I await news on a lung transplant. May never get it. Not even sure if it’ll help, with all the other issues. What I do know is I want to continue writing, whatever that means.

Saw 52 of my 60 this month. Considering how physically exhausting October has been, that’s pretty goooooooood. These were 4 of my favorites, though there were only 5 or so I thought were bad.

Every time WWE tries to explain why Izzi Dame refused a title shot, it comes off even more ridiculous.
