“HE WAS OLD ANYWAY… SO WHAT DOES IT MATTER?” Those are the words a paramedic says were spoken after 86-year-old Edward Anderson died alone on the floor of his bedroom. Let that sink in. Edward was a husband. A father. A hospice patient. A human being who deserved dignity in his final days. According to investigators, his overnight caregiver, Beatrice Taylor, fell asleep during her shift. Around 1 a.m., she allegedly heard a loud thump and found Edward trapped on the floor with his head wedged between his bed and a nightstand. He was alive. He was conscious. Investigators say a call to 911 at that moment could have saved his life. Instead, authorities allege she walked away and went back to sleep. Hours later, investigators say she spent nearly 40 minutes on the phone with her parents before checking on him again. By then, Edward was unconscious. Even then, deputies say 911 was not called immediately. Emergency responders weren’t contacted until 5: 37 a.m. By the time they arrived… Edward Anderson was gone. The medical examiner ruled his death positional asphyxia, meaning he slowly suffocated while trapped. Investigators say data from his pacemaker showed he survived for a period after the fall, and that prompt medical assistance could have prevented his death. Then came the statement that has left so many people outraged. A paramedic reported hearing the caregiver say: “He was old anyway… so what does it matter?” It matters because every life matters. It matters because growing old does not erase a person’s value. It matters because no one deserves to spend their final moments frightened, trapped, and alone when help was only a phone call away. Authorities charged Beatrice Taylor with aggravated manslaughter of an elderly person. Edward Anderson deserved compassion. Instead, prosecutors allege he was abandoned when he needed someone most.

You should sue the university that bestowed these degrees on you for fraud instead
My student loans were taken out based on generous income based repayment plans with monthly payments of around $500. Now thanks to Trump killing off the SAVE plan for no reason but he hated Biden it will be ballooning to $1400 a month and will end up at 4Xs the loan amounts. How do I sue for breech of contract??
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Contrary to the post, loans predate SAVE (created 2023; PhD 2015) & were under prior IDR plans at lower income then. SAVE vacated by Mar 2026 court order after litigation/settlement, not Trump alone. studentaid.gov/courtactions studentaid.gov/articles/save/ socialsciences.uoregon.edu/political-scie… Screenshot shows new RAP payments.

In 1835, a Young French Aristocrat Predicted the Exact Bureaucratic Trap Threatening the West Today Before the philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville ever set foot in America, radical tyranny had already scarred his family. During the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror, left-wing Jacobin zealots guillotined his great-grandfather and threw his newlywed parents into a Paris dungeon. Waiting daily for the executioner's blade, his father’s hair turned snow-white at the age of twenty-one. Only the sudden fall of Robespierre spared his parents' lives by a matter of hours, allowing Alexis to be born a decade later. Raised in the shadow of state terror, Tocqueville became obsessed with a single question: why did the French pursuit of utopian equality end in a bloodbath, while the American Revolution produced the freest, most prosperous republic on earth? In 1831, at just twenty-five years old, he convinced the French government to send him to the United States under the mundane bureaucratic cover of inspecting American prisons. Once he arrived, he spent nine months traveling seven thousand miles by stagecoach, steamboat, and horseback to study the soul of the American citizen. His observations became Democracy in America, one of the most brilliant political analyses ever written. Tocqueville realized that American greatness rested on three pillars: fierce individual self-reliance, decentralized local communities, and a strong foundation of religious morality. Whenever Americans saw a problem, they formed a local group and fixed it themselves rather than begging a distant politician for help. Yet as he studied the young republic, Tocqueville foresaw a chilling vulnerability. He realized that a proud, armed citizenry would always fight back against an obvious military dictator. Therefore, future tyrants would abandon whips and chains in favor of welfare, cradle-to-grave safety, and endless administrative rules. They would conquer free citizens by offering to manage their lives in the name of compassion. Describing this future nanny state in 1840, Tocqueville wrote a passage that reads like a headline from today: "Above this race of men stands an immense and tutelary power, which takes upon itself alone to secure their gratifications and to watch over their fate... It seeks to keep them in perpetual childhood. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd... till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd." Tocqueville called this system "soft despotism." Nearly two centuries ago, he understood that when citizens trade personal responsibility for government security, the state gladly reduces them to dependent children. Every bloated regulatory agency, speech code, and entitlement program today operates on the exact blueprint he exposed. Liberty rarely perishes overnight in a violent coup; it erodes quietly when a free people allow bureaucrats to become their shepherds.

They are turning us into the third world Also there is a huge burn mark from the homeless setting a fire this same night and the fire department had to come out and put the fire out We are paying for all of this….

For anyone still failing to grasp the sheer gravity of what has unfolded in Poland since yesterday, or who has remained unaware because the mainstream media have conveniently buried the story, leaving social media as virtually the only source of information: Tusk’s government ordered that the presidential aircraft carrying Poland’s Head of State, President Karol Nawrocki, be denied landing clearance. The military pilots, refusing to comply with what they clearly regarded as an unacceptable order, defied the control tower and landed anyway. And what about Brussels? Deafening silence. No outrage, no condemnation, no defence of constitutional order. We all know the routine: the moment the political damage becomes impossible to ignore, the Brussels establishment will rush to Tusk’s defence. After all, he is von der Leyen’s political loyalist, and it is difficult to believe that he would have dared to take such an extraordinary step without the backing ,or at least the approval, of his political patrons. This is not some trivial political spat. These are allegations of an extraordinary abuse of state authority, and they demand immediate answers. Poland deserves the truth, not a wall of silence from Brussels.

Another trans person has just been arrested for the killing of his parents. This time, in Ohio. But the accused trans killer is from Oregon. Parricide—the killing of one’s parents—is a recurring theme I found in my years of reporting on trans violence. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident than in the Zizian trans death cult, where it was elevated to a religious-like tenet. Members believed it was righteous—even a duty—to take revenge against “transphobic” and “queerphobic”parents.

Bueno, vamos a dejarlo estar, pobrecillo"?

-Mooska Zumm... #UTSA #EUA #CulturaWoke #Responsabilidade #Mooska

🚨 BOMBSHELL: Two former members and one current member of Katy Padilla Stout’s congressional campaign staff have come forward, speaking under condition of anonymity, to describe what they call an extremely hostile work environment. The current staffer alleges that Stout routinely berates and curses at her staff. “She’s mean and angry all the time,” the staffer said. “Her smile in front of the cameras is fake. She treats us like slaves. She has us do her grocery shopping, take her dogs to the groomer, and pick up her kids from school, stuff completely unrelated to the campaign.” The staffer continued: “Earlier this month I requested a day off to drive to Dallas and visit my mom, who was scheduled to receive her first round of chemo. I had worked 11 straight days with no days off. Katy went psycho on me during the phone call, telling me, ‘Are you fucking kidding me with this stupid shit two days before a debate? We’re not playing these fucking games. You either start giving me 110% ASAP or I’ll fire your ass.’” One former staffer said Stout frequently had blowups over food. “On one occasion, one of my colleagues went to pick up lunch for all of us at Tacos El Rey, which is around the corner from the office. Katy ordered two asada tacos, a chicken taco, a carnitas taco, a cup of beans, and a cup of rice. It was her usual order. When she opened her bag, she noticed the carnitas taco was missing. She went absolutely crazy on my colleague, accusing her of stealing food and asking if she didn’t pay her enough that she needed to steal. As my coworker tried to explain that they probably just forgot to put it in the bag, Katy threw the cup of beans at the wall where my coworker was standing, told her, while she was crying and visibly shaken, to clean up the mess and earn her paycheck, and then stormed out to eat in her car.” Another former campaign staffer said, “She’s made her whole campaign about how her opponent treats women, that he’s a misogynist and says inappropriate things on his YouTube channel, but she would say super inappropriate sexual stuff all the time when I was there. It got really awkward sometimes because she’d go into detail with me about sexual dreams she’d had. It made me and others feel really uncomfortable. On many occasions I witnessed Katy refer to other women as ‘bitches’ and ‘cunts.’ On a separate occasion, we had the TV on and Scott Bessent was doing an interview. Katy referred to him as a ‘f*ggot Nazi enabler.’ I had to step out because I didn’t want to say something that would get me in trouble. I resigned about a week later.”
