Duxford Battle of Britain day on Saturday, and the "Big Wing" flypast. Goosebumps all over. In memory of "The Few".
Banff amb staff learning to fly for free at an exercise night alongside the Macduff Coastguard team. An excellent experience, learning of all the expertise that we can rely on from a great bunch of people. Well looked after, and I did hum the Mission Impossible theme on my turn!
A great nights inter-services training for Banff Ambulance staff alongside our Macduff Fire and Rescue colleagues. Lot's of valuable training and learning on both sides. And also just as important, getting to know our Blue Light colleagues better too!
Just to say a big THANK YOU to all of those on Twitter who sponsored me to run the London Marathon for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
It wasn't pretty or easy, faded quite a bit from 20 miles onward, but thankfully got the job done in 5hrs 22mins.
