Managing this was an awesome experience. I am very proud of the tremendous work done by our staff and volunteers to make this event a success! Alongside Harris and Baldwin, we targeted four flippable down-ballot races. Real world organizing is hard work, but this is how we win!
🚨 RESULTS ARE IN! 🚨 Our Wisconsin canvassing event for @KamalaHarris, @Tim_Walz, & @tammybaldwin was a HUGE success: - 4 creators mobilized their communities ✅ - 290 dedicated canvassers hit the streets ✅ - Over 24,700+ doors knocked ✅ Thank you to all who came out! 💙

Buttigieg: I voted for Abdul, it was because Abdul is for everybody getting health care running against Mike Rogers, who repeatedly voted to cut the affordable care act. This vote was not a close call for me. And whatever Haley Stevens says isn't going to change that for me. And I don't think it's changing that for a lot of Michiganders either.

Medgar Evers was killed in his driveway because he refused to accept a Mississippi where some were denied the right to vote. He stood with thousands who marched, organized and sacrificed so future generations could have a voice. We owe it to them not to take that right for granted. On Tuesday, honor their legacy. Vote.

I get sassy when they attack libs, but I want to add some positivity to my timeline and say that I genuinely appreciate my old org putting the work in to help get @AngieNixon elected. I think that they picked a terrific candidate to put their full backing behind! Good job, guys!
As far as we know, PV and the @VaushV community just did something nobody has ever done in AMERICAN HISTORY. We phonebanked every Registered Democrat in a large congressional in a SINGLE DAY. Less than 2 hours actually!

It’s official: @rephaleystevens is a 100% traitor and she wants to sabotage the campaign of @abdulelsayed. And she is pimping Black folks by saying that @mikerogersformi will support Black businesses. SHE IS A LIAR. What he will do is support to right wing Supreme Court justices that will continue the GOP War On Black America! Black Michigan peeps, Say hell no to Rogers and turn out in a massive way for Al-Sayed!

Pathetic. Haley Stevens is “condemning hate” by endorsing someone hateful? Not only has Rogers has repeatedly trafficked in Islamophobia and racism during his campaign, but this is his harmful and dangerous agenda: Abortion rights: He co-sponsored legislation granting legal rights from fertilization, with no exceptions for rape or incest, and supported restricting access to mifepristone. Health care: He opposed the Affordable Care Act, supports the Medicaid changes in Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” and opposed extending enhanced ACA insurance subsidies. LGBTQ equality: He supported bans on same-sex marriage and voted against federal employment protections based on sexual orientation. Gun safety: He has the NRA’s endorsement in this election. Election denial: He has repeated false claims about the 2020 election and questioned his own 2024 loss to Elissa Slotkin. Immigration enforcement: He defended Trump’s immigration enforcement surge in the October Senate debate.
HAPPENING NOW: Congresswoman Haley Stevens joins Mike Rogers at church in Detroit this morning. We have a state to save, Michigan.

“Keep politics out of my sports.” It’s a phrase we hear all the time, but it oversimplifies the relationship between sports and the world around us. I recently had the opportunity to interview Abdul El-Sayed, and I wanted to ask him about was his experience as a collegiate athlete. Specifically, I was interested in his perspective on the intersection of sports and politics, and what he learned from being in a locker room surrounded by teammates from different backgrounds and beliefs. I understand why people want sports to be an escape from politics, but the reality is that throughout history, sports and politics have been deeply intertwined. From breaking racial barriers to fighting for equality and civil rights, athletes have played a pivotal role in pushing society toward meaningful social change. Having spent much of my life in locker rooms, I believe there's something uniquely powerful about bringing people together who might disagree on what’s best for the country, but still have to trust one another and work toward a common goal. Sports have always been about more than just the game. And sometimes, the impact they have beyond the field is far greater than anything that happens on it. Here's a portion of our conversation. @AbdulElSayed

Taps the sign
Mallory McMorrow, quoted by The Washington Post “Michigan could very well be the state that flips control of the Senate. …That’s what’s on the line. Nothing less. And Michiganders know it.” “Cut the shit. Lock in. Knock doors. Get out the vote. That’s it.” Link to article: washingtonpost.com/politics/…

I spoke with Haley Stevens yesterday. Feeling a bit absurd in pointing out the obvious and being far kinder than I should have been, I reminded her that the outcome of this senate race will be viewed in the light of a future Supreme Court vacancy, and I expressed a hope that all of us understand the stakes. She assured me she's supporting Dr. El-Sayed, sent me a video of a recent speech she gave blasting Mike Rogers and said this: "Still stands. I promise." She also said she's been sending this video to other folks to make it clear where she stands on this race. Again: that was yesterday. I have known Haley Stevens for years. I have counted her as a friend and an ally. We've had many thoughtful conversations about this country, and she has never failed to remind me that her mother is a fan of my writing. Whatever other political differences we have, she has always made it clear to me she would stand with LGBTQ people. It was a red line she refused to cross. Instead, she has made the inexplicable decision to endorse a man who views LGBTQ Americans as second-class citizens unworthy of full equality. I can't help but wonder what her mother must be thinking right now. I have no idea what has happened to the person I thought I knew, but clearly, she has completely taken leave of her senses in endorsing a Republican who is little more than a Trump sycophant -- less than 24 hours after promising me that she has not wavered from the bigger picture. I am disgusted with her cynicism and cowardice in this moment. God forgive me for trusting her. If you're a Michigan voter and as disgusted as I am, get to your polling place and vote for Dr. El-Sayed.

This is a despicable betrayal from Rep. Stevens. Senate Democrats are united in our support for Abdul El-Sayed, because we know he will fight for the economic interests of working families in Michigan, unlike Mike Rogers, who is a tool of Donald Trump and billionaire donors.

Standing with Miker Rogers is a betrayal of everything Haley Stevens has fought for her entire career. It's also a betrayal of all of her supporters that believed in her. I hope @AbdulElSayed has a strong victory on Tuesday and that all Democrats and like-minded independents support vote for him.

This is a betrayal of all you've represented in the past and all the people that supported you. Mike Rogers has a run a hateful campaign. I hope Abdul has a strong victory on Tuesday. What you've done today is an abomination.

One of my proudest moments of my political career was directing volunteers to make ~100,000 calls for Senator Alsobrook’s campaign. She is a terrific public servant and team player! Appreciate her taking the time to support our candidates in critical races!
Touched down in Detroit this morning, and I’m fired up and ready to hit the ground running! Excited to be here supporting my friend, @AbdulElSayed, in his campaign for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. Let’s get to work! 💪🏾

I've already said it and I'll repeat: only those who support pedophilia are against childhood sex education.
For me, every school should be required to have this type of activity.

I walked the Trump rally line to listen, not make assumptions. I talked with voters, asked questions and heard what matters to them. When I'm elected, I'll represent all 82 counties and every Mississippian, no matter who they voted for. That's what being your senator means. #MississippiMatters
