Pleased to be part of the Lahore Literary Festival hosted by @AsiaSociety in New York. Lahore remains the foremost center of our cultural and intellectual identity-holding an iconic significance in Pakistan for not just rich but lavish cultural and literary landscaping much like New York in the US. Throughout our national history, Lahore has been a fountainhead of creativity, literature, fine arts, and dialogue. Timeless milestones like the passage of Lahore Resolution reflect its deep rooted legacy. The resolution was indeed a piece of political literature that transformed into reality and continues to afford the ideological basis for creation of Pakistan. Lahore transcends borders in standing out as a literary and cultural hub. Thanks to Razi Ahmad, Asia Society and their respective teams for regularly bringing it to the US. Grateful to eminent participants for celebrating, sharing and disseminating our literary and cultural heritage 🇵🇰🇺🇸. #PakistanAt80 #SirfPakistan
