"I am what I am" is strictly distinct from positions in reality, the only denial is to ignore how minds participate to evaluate reality distinct to each other.

1776: "...a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, & to provide new Guards for their future security." 2026: "...we don't have better than right or left collectivism, freedom = trust new 'outsiders' "

Major MAGA accounts have a cartoon understanding of the Founders, whom they are at pains to tell you how much they love, but when you share the Founders' own words with them, without the quotation marks, they're sure they're up against right-wing extremists they must vanquish

Free sample lecture from my online course. Starting with why Philosophy matters to Politics, the French Revolution, and Edmund Burke's influential interpretation.
Peterson Academy is excited to share Professor Stephen Hicks’ first lecture from The Philosophy of Politics Part 1. @SRCHicks takes us through the development of political philosophy from the late 18th to the early 20th century, focusing on key thinkers and movements that shaped the modern world.

"Trotsky said overthrowing 'every dictator globally all the time' is a permanent goal to save the world, why is it bad if we substitute Marxism with old values like Liberal Democracy? What's the worst any emerging land's citizens would think of us?" ...*Cut to effigies* - Neocons

To speak about economics without understanding each of the 10 pillars of economic wisdom; is at best guessing, to reject #7 causes all bad guesses. #7 is true because inner-subjective objectivity can only be imagined, not imaged in time. econlib.org/archives/2012/04…

An old Russian proverb: A magical fish grants one wish to a peasant. The peasant wonders what treasures he should request from the fish. Then the fish explains: whatever the peasant wishes for and receives himself, his neighbor will receive double. After a moment, the peasant says, “Okay, then I want you to poke out one of my eyes.” (My best current real-life example: tariff tiffs between Canada and the US over the last year or so. Both sides are the Russian peasant.)

Who are you to talk about matters of absolouteness. Make claims about the best organization of life; claims of how such a formation does echo into you as willed into reality because why else would anything be with you rather than not. Rationality can cost everything or give.

1. You realize reality once necessarily prioritizing imagining it in the first place. 2. You aim at the eternal & move towards that focused path as finite paths limit towards your end, the infinite is distinctly transcendant, as are you. Better than Dialectics or Materialism
