Goes on Fox, talks about wanting to work in bipartisan manner w/Tim Scott, talks about addressing real problems. Meanwhile Darline says “Kiss my ass” & engages in name-calling (“batshit crazy”).
Which one has the character to address governance & SC’s needs in a serious manner?
Fox News: What's your number one priority if you win?
Dr. Annie Andrews: As a physician, Medicaid is the backbone of children’s healthcare here in South Carolina. I look forward to working with senator Tim Scott on that issue. If these budget cuts go through, rural hospitals will close, and tens of thousands of South Carolinians will lose their insurance.
That’s rich. If you hear her speak, even if you disagree strongly with her, Dr. Andrews sounds like a pretty normal person. On the other hand the guy in the Oval Office telling the puppet #DataCenterDarline how to vote on every issue, he TRULY is batshit crazy.

This is what putting South Carolina first looks like.
I’m honored to have the support of two former governors — Republican David Beasley and Democrat Jim Hodges.
We may not agree on everything, but we share a belief that matters most: South Carolina deserves leaders who will always put its people first.

10/25/1986 An out away from losing the World Series, the Mets score three runs to beat the Red Sox and force a Game 7. Gary Carter, Kevin Mitchell, and Ray Knight record two-out hits, New York ties the score on a wild pitch, and Mookie Wilson hits a little roller up along first.

Churchill could have shortened WW2 by years if he had just “done a deal” with Hitler. George Washington could have done a deal to end the American Revolution. Zelenskyy is in good company.
100 Years Ago Today in the NYT (An Occasional Series): Evidently #Yankees fans w/disposible income could travel back & forth to St Louis with the team for the #WorldSeries
I would’ve flipped 1 & 2; wish Severance was higher & wish Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant’s Extras was on this list. But biggest objection I have is that Barry should be WAY higher, maybe top 25. Genre-defying, brilliantly conceived & written & great performances across the board
25 yrs ago I’d landed in Anchorage late 9/10 to play a music festival. Went to sleep around midnight, 5 AM NY time. Woke up to beautiful Alaskan paradise, my host hadn’t turned TV on. Call from violinist Paul Rosenthal at 8 AM & heard the whole story from him: it had all happened
Europe, Dallas, other destinations. Nearby Air Force base full of folks from grounded flights from Asia in days ahead, and many Alaskans volunteered to help feed them etc. We had concerts scheduled for Fri 9/14, would we still do them, could we still do them with players missing?
A delightful side benefit of the release of “Coyote vs Acme” has been everyone posting their favorite “Coyote-fail” moments here—like this gem
Just heard word that we are losing Immac in November.
Please tell me this doesn't mean we're losing Immaculate Consumption. I can't handle another good place closing after we lost the Whig.
