Curiously, @CanadaFP and Ms. Anand herself failed to condemn today’s Hamas shooting terror attack in Judea & Samaria that saw 2 Israelis savagely murdered and 3 others injured.
Care to explain why the lose of Israeli lives didn’t merit attention from you?
Today, an act of terrorism violated the sanctity of a funeral at a church in the Jordanian city of Karak. Families had gathered to mourn; instead, they became the targets of a horrific attack. Canada condemns this violence in the strongest terms. My deepest condolences to the members of the Greek Orthodox Church and to those grieving this loss, and I wish the injured a full recovery.
I have been in contact with my counterpart, Foreign Minister @AymanHsafadi, to express Canada’s solidarity with the Jordanian people. We will remain in close contact as we stand together in defence of religious freedom, human dignity and the fundamental right to worship in peace.

As the investigation has continued into the shooting attack in Paris, it appears the crime was motivated by anti-Muslim hate.
President Macron had this to say on the matter: "What happened today is, I am telling you, a turning point, because it is the first time we have had a terrorist act that was planned to kill our compatriots, our children, based on the color of their skin or their religion."
I guess the man who shot children at a Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse in 2012 doesn't count. He must have chosen a Jewish school by accident.
And I suppose the man who shot and took hostages at a kosher grocery store in Paris in 2015 also didn't count.
Please do not mistake what I am saying here. I am not saying this isn't a horrible terrorist attack targeting people on the basis of religion. I am not saying that this terrorist attack is in any way less awful than the ones targeting Jews that came before it.
But I am asking why the President of France is erasing the history of Jews being targeted by terrorists in his country. The tragedy is already horrific; why make things up?

Funny how @MarkJCarney has no problem visiting Turkey, an authoritarian Islamist regime that oppresses opposition politicians, journalists, and LGBTQ individuals and illegally occupies 40% of Cyprus.
Meanwhile, since becoming Prime Minister, he has never bothered to visit Israel, the only democratic nation in the Middle East that upholds our Western values, with equal rights for all.
@MarkJCarney should be condemning Turkey, NOT giving them an official visit.

In West Hempstead, NY 🇺🇸, a man was arrested after allegedly attempting to break in and set fire to a synagogue.
Azzm Khan initially tried to kick down the front door, but when he failed, he tried to start a fire.
Authorities were nearby and were able to take him into custody.
