It was a huge honour and delight to meet Hon. EAM Shri @DrSJaishankar ji, and present him with a copy of the book- Modi's North East Story. I am deeply grateful for his valuable insights and kind words of encouragement. The book edited by Shri @tuhins ji and me, documents the transformation of our North East states under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji and provides an insight into his transformation strategy and development model.

It was a pleasure and very energising to interact with the new batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Leadership, Politics and Governance at the Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership (IIDL), Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) on October 24th at the Uttan campus. Drawing on my book, Viksit Bharat India@2047, I presented a data-driven vision of India’s journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047—the transformation already underway, the engines driving growth, and the opportunities ahead. Three messages stood out: 1️⃣ Nation-building is a collective mission. Viksit Bharat will not be built by government alone. Every citizen has a role. 2️⃣ India is entering a once-in-a-lifetime growth phase. A young population, massive infrastructure creation, digital public infrastructure, manufacturing expansion, energy transition and technological disruption are converging at the same time. 3️⃣ Stay aware—because increasingly, the action is in India. The data presented from the book tells a powerful story: from UPI and semiconductors to AI, private space technology, clean energy, infrastructure and advanced manufacturing, the India of 2047 is already being built today. My message to the young leaders was simple: Do not merely watch India rise. Participate in building it. Earlier this month, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji summed up India’s ambition in three powerful words: “हम करके रहेंगे” — We Will Do It! Developed India by 2047 — We Will Do It! Top Three Economy — We Will Do It! Self-Reliant India — We Will Do It! Global Manufacturing Hub — We Will Do It! We concluded a highly productive 'MSME for 2047' Consultative Committee meeting in Pune at the @gipe_official, bringing together experienced voices from industry, policy and the MSME ecosystem. After multiple roundtables across India, the task is clear: convert on-the-ground insights into specific, actionable policy recommendations for our forthcoming White Paper to the Government of India. MSMEs are not merely a sector of the economy—they are Bharat's growth engines. Our central proposition remains powerful: accelerate MSME growth, and we can create an outsized impact on India’s GDP, employment, entrepreneurship and regional prosperity. Looking forward to convening the MSME for @2047 Consultative Committee Meeting at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune, on October 21st. After multiple roundtables across India, we now move from listening to synthesis, and from deliberation to action. The task ahead is ambitious: distil grassroots insights into a sharp, evidence-backed policy agenda and begin shaping our White Paper for the Government of India, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of MSME. MSMEs are not merely the backbone of our economy; they are Bharat's growth engines! With MSMEs contributing approximately 30% to India's GDP, even a 10% acceleration in their growth could add around 3% to India’s growth trajectory.
