No hate, but “I have always felt [pulpy sci fi concept] to be impossible” does not strike me as a particularly valuable insight

Restrictions on porn are genuinely such an insidious trojan horse for mass censorship because if you try to speak out against it, people on both sides of the political aisle will just write you off as a pervert.
Dumbest thing I saw was someone equating the respect for the chain of command and duty that Picard has as some sort of conservative value
We are not confusing LLMs with true AI consciousness like Data’s.

Christopher Abbott when asked if he will shave his head for the role of Professor X in ‘X-MEN’:
“My hair’s pretty thick. I’ve shaved my head for things before, and I’m down. But if my head is anything like my face, three hours later it’s going to be back. So I’m not sure because he’s not shaving his head every day. I want it to feel right.”

Ngl, if western devs said this, they’d be tarred and feathered in the street
The creators of Phantom Blade Zero don’t want players to suffer like they do in Dark Souls. According to the head of S-Game, life is already hard enough without having to struggle in video games too.
The developers have tried to eliminate unnecessary frustration while keeping combat spectacular and intense:
Death carries no major penalties.
Defeated enemies do not respawn.
Boss fights feature checkpoints between phases, so players won’t have to restart the entire battle.
Three difficulty settings are available: Easy, Normal, and Hard.
A permadeath mode unlocks after completing the game.
“We want as many people as possible to have fun, relax, and enjoy the game. And for those seeking a challenge, we’ll offer an extra dose of adrenaline.”
The core philosophy behind Phantom Blade Zero is to make players feel incredibly powerful rather than punish them for every mistake.
