Are we surprised by @actparty MP McKee and her wish to allow anyone to own machine guns? Not really. Monkeys will dance to whoever is paying the organ grinder.

This is exactly why National don't want university students voting. 130,000 18-24 year olds are not enrolled as of today as exam & assessment season is in full swing. It's a myth that our young are uninformed. Watch this gentleman know more than people three twice his age #NZPOL
this young interviewer completely embarrasses christopher luxon, who tries to say the kid doesn't know the details of the move-on bill, only for the kid to come back and grill him on the details, while luxon just stammers and deflects. clip via voteotago on instagram

Liam fails to mention that, all finer details aside, this change has been brought in by the party which most likely stands to benefit from it. They could have achieved their stated goals a bunch of ways, but instead chose the specific one which screws the scrum their own way.
Richard fails to mention that the trend towards later and later registration overwhelmed the electoral commission in 2023, compromising the integrity of the count that year, as noted by the auditor general.

He jeeps avoiding the question. And the excellent ting interviewer goes back to it and presses him and he ducks it again. And again. One would hope for better from our PM. This is why people don’t like or trust him.

It's so indescribably grim that we have a PM who, in the face of all the problems the average Kiwi is facing (admittedly largely cause by him so he is incentivised to ignore them), continues to claim his brainless "no new taxes" refrain is the "most important" thing
Voted with Amanda in Beachlands to keep growing our economy, being tough on crime, teaching our kids the basics brilliantly, and most importantly, no new taxes, so you and your family can get ahead. Party Vote National today.

In 2014, National symbolically represented itself as a rowing team cutting through the water. A powerful image of teamwork, determination, and success. In 2026, they're the half-shorn sheep.
'All we've managed in the past 3 years is to shear half a sheep Give us three more years and we'll have a go at the other half' OK, lads. Let's not set our sights too high

For someone who has made several attempts to disenfranchise voters, he seems pretty obsessed with promoting the Labour Party. Paul’s words: “Go Labour. It’s two ticks from me” ✅✅ @PaulGoldsmithMP @chrisluxonmp

@TVNZ once again carrying water for National. Omits Australia has mandatory voting & automatic enrolment, and fines for not doing either. And it's not only young people - 300,000 have been disenfranchised. @tomdaynz 1News is cooked and also obfuscated health issues for Nat too
When Electoral Commission releases figures, Luxon needs to be asked continuously why he took the right to vote away from some Kiwis. He hasn’t given an answer. The most unpopular PM and first term Government in history should not be making changes to lower voter participation.

Luxon/Willis both claiming they'll create 220,000 jobs when their total for 3 years is MINUS 35,000? Plus every govt since 1986 has added on average, yearly, 34,000 jobs. But not the coalition! Labour governments create jobs.
L A B O U R P O L I C Y Labour will build the homes, improve the schools and repair the hospitals our communities need - creating good jobs, supporting local businesses, and getting Kiwis back on the tools. labour.org.nz/start-work-now #VoteLabour

A bunch of crooks! Just look at their faces! Is the NZ voter here just for their entertainment? What will National be coming up with next? Claiming that the 2026 Election was stolen!
Chris Bishop: National's voter law will help us win 1-2 more electorate seats. It oppress 300,000 #Kiwi voters, 1/3 of them young. "Democracy is so special," gaslights Luxon, as he replicates US style Republican tactics in a bill he passed under urgency in Dec 2025 #NewZealand

I always vote on the first day. Today is the first day of voting so I went to the Wainuiomata advance voting place at the hall. It is closed. A disgrace. Along with early roll closing it is looking like the voter suppression you expect from Trump or Hungary not here in Aotearoa.
