Let your people vote on company time! The future of America is certainly worth the time it takes. Right now, early voting is open here in the great State of Idaho. Help your people do their civic duty and vote!

This is exactly why I started @RedBalloonWork. Right now, most workplace discrimination happens because of DEI quotas and anti-American sentiment. In 2021 I was given a choice between my job and my values; I stuck with my values and lost my job. So, we started a job board where people could find jobs if this happened to them. @RedBalloonWork was born late in the year. In 2023: We passed 3000 businesses on the platform and launched RedBalloon Recruiter to help American businesses affordably hire real builders and create meritocracies. Today, we've completed over 800+ Recruiter engagements and placed thousands of hard working Americans through our job board. If you're an American employer who wants to escape the DEI nonsense, come to RedBalloon and get your first job posting completely FREE! If you're a job seeker, come create a free profile and apply to thousands of jobs where you don't have to worry about being fired because of your faith or values.

In our age of "safetyism" it's important to learn from the lessons of the past. Great things are never built without people who know how to sacrifice. As Augustus points out, the extent of this sacrifice was obviously tragic. But that doesn't mean that risk, challenge, and adventure are something to eliminate from work. Quite the contrary, in fact. We need much MORE risk, challenge, and adventure in our work today. That's how great things are built and historic moments are won. Bring that energy into this week!

Exploration has always been messy. It’s full of risk, failure, and people doing their best with what they knew at the time. But without that drive to venture into the unknown, we’d all still be living in huts arguing about whose torch was brighter. You don’t have to agree with everything in history to appreciate what courage looks like. And I think we can all agree, these days we need less outrage, and more explorers. Happy Columbus Day everyone!
